What he is saying is that those who are predicting less warming over the long term are being proven wrong by the emerging models not that there hasn't been a temporary slowing of the amount of temperature increase. In fact, more and more ice is melting and there are no glaciers in the world that are increasing in size nor are the ice fields in any location increasing in size. More and more of Greenland is being exposed every year. And more and more of the ice cover in every location on the globe that has an ice cover is receding! This is obvious from photographs, not from models, but from comparative analysis of pictures of ice flows over time. The evidence is indeed undeniable. But that is not what he is talking about here he is specifically referring to the models and where the mistakes in modeling are occurring.

Global cooling has not set in, in fact all that has happened is that the amount of increase has leveled off, but the temperature of the earth was already such that all the major ice covers were already melting and none of that has ceased and there has been absolutely no increase anywhere on the globe in the area covered by ice, none. All areas have lost huge amounts of ice and more and more places on the east coast of the United States are becoming flooded, the Atlantic is rising in some places more than others. Only cranks, fools, and oil and coal company executives and their fake scientist mouthpieces are even maklng these stupid arguments because the evidence is so overwhelming. It would be similar to a so-called doctor today telling you that smoking cigarettes is good for your heart and lungs.

I think you've got it backwards. But that wouldn't be a surprise would it. it actually went from Global Warming to Climate Change. And I think it was the right who tried to change the moniker in order to take some of the sting out of the wording. But how we have both sides using the terms interchangeably. The right does this sort of shit all the time like when they changed the name of the anti-abortion movement to the right to life. Anti-abortion was too problematic but by calling it the right to life, they took out the negativity and made it positive. But it's still the same old shit, maintaining control of women's choices and women's bodies.
