....and were you a wife that had just been raped, your response would be....oh well? I know of a few women who have been raped by spouses, so it must be more than a few cases per year.

Leaving this legislation aside you actually know (several) women who have been raped by their husbands? I'm not suggesting it doesn't happen but for me personally I'm not heard of that happening (which is a good thing).

I'm amused that you think you know anything about where I have been or what I have experienced.

But when it comes to statistical data regarding national issues, a couple of personal stories that are anecdotal just don't pass the compelling test.

Similar to your inept claim in your effort to deflect off topic on another thread that Reagan did not listen to requests for more security in Beirut, the best you could do was claim that you heard it from a friend.
