GOP Delegation meets privately with Bush; Tells him to stop lying about Iraq

Hummm...

Only complimentary things should be said about our Fuhrer publically...after all, we are at war!

Well Darla let me put this into terms maybe you can understand...somethings in life need to be confidential...let's say you had a affair with a hot guy...he treated you right in private...then he went on and told everyone how great or bad you were in bed...if he said you were a great lay yet everyone new you were cheating...this would be okay??? Just don't tell everyone how boring in bed you were...;)

This is all well and good that these 11 brought to the attention of GW that their electorate was giving them feedback...however to go public and 'Kiss and Tell'...well thats just not right!

Naturally, you'll be applying this exact same standard to Bush, when he tells us what he or Cheney discussed with the Iraqi prime minister, or any other world leader. Even when it involves putting pressure on those people.

.....Oh wait! No, you won't apply the same standard! I almost forgot! You're a republican who claims not to be a republican, and you're a George Bush fan and defender, even though you claim not to be a bush fan! Silly me....I keep forgetting about all these "incognito" "in the closet" bush defenders we have in cyberspace!

The fact that these two things have absolutely no relation to each other and cannot be compared can just be ignored.

Okee Dokee then...

I gather you were never taught analogies in College...Back to the Beach with you...'Girls gone Wild'...candidate!

Cypress...."Again, given the context of the times we live in Cawacko, you're flailing around and grasping at trivial reasons to keep supporting the party that gave us the Iraq War, fiscial mismanagment, and large scale corruption"

What you are failing to understand is that some people do not hold the entire Rep party responsible for the actions of the leadership of the party. The corruption and fiscal mismanagment have been going on by BOTH parties for Decades. As for Iraq... there were a lot of Dems that got us into it as well. They may be back pedalling now... but they were on board at the start.... and yes, yes, I know, the highly clever Bush "fooled" them. Right?

Apparently you were never taught what a "bad analogy" is in high school.

Why are you always bringing up sex when you make a post to me? This thread has nothing to do with sex, and yet that is all you have been posting about. Do you have sexual problems? I would suggest you take them to another board, one more appropriate.

Kudos...!

I love it when people use logic and facts rather than diatribes...a little humor is also very good!:)

Can you name more than a handfull of republicans in congress who have spoken out consistently against Bush's war and his management of it? Can you name me more than a handfull who didn't vote for 95% of everything Bush wanted? Can you name more than a handfull who haven't given virtually unequivocable support to almost every decision Bush has made?

No, you can't. Bush's decisions, and Bush's policies are the policies of the national republican party.

Some Dems stood back and let it happen, yes...however, this is bush's war, and it will go down in history as such, and it is his party that will pay the price for it. Just as it is his party that would have greatly benefitted from it had it gone well. And had that happened, you would not be on here SF, insisting that the dems get a fair share of their credit for the great success in Iraq, ok? :)

And that is the risk you take when you throw those dice. Well, that's the risk some people take. Others risk and lose, their actual lives.

Give it a rest...!

I gave you an analogy that you were capable of understanding...I have absolutely no desire to become familiar with the likes of you!...end of story!:tongout:

Since you are the one who is always talking about sex, we can conclude that it's the only thing you are capable of understanding.

Your constant babbling about sex is not a reflection on me. It says much about you however.

Probably true however for the going out I think not...but hey Darla twisted this into a sexual thingee...not I...it was not 'personal' just a analogy used quite frequently...:clink:

This is just juvenile. It doesn't even make sense or relate to the thread. You sure you're not in middle school, or something?

Hey geezer, you got nothing else to do but sit around pulling your pud while posting, that's one thing.

But making stuff up? That's another thing, here is how it actually went. I twisted nothing, you started talking about sex out of absolutely nowhere. Now, go take your dementia pills and try and keep up better tomorrow.

And no Viagra needed :D

Life is good.

It is a myth that you must vote either Republican or Democrat... There are other choices and America would be a healthier and more liberal nation if people did so more often.

I agree. The two party system is rather annoying.
