A big selling point for the Affordable Care Act was its protection for the middle class. “I continue to insist that health reform not be paid for on the backs of middle-class families,” President Obama said in his 2009 press conference. But the centerpiece of his reform is a new, widespread tax in the form of an “individual mandate.” The Supreme Court made that much clear when it announced its landmark ruling last summer.

the republican party wont be able to pay you much for your willingness to like like a dead dog.

Im sure you will find someone to pay you for lies elsewhere

That is Cruz's plan.

Lush limpballs is going to be real sorry he helped this guy along the way when he steals a lot of his listeners from him

Since President Obama was re-elected last November, employers have been rapidly laying off employees or forcing them into part-time work.

Many specifically cited the new health law as a reason.

A survey from the IFA showed that 31% of franchisees planned to reduce their workforce in order to comply with Obamacare.

Another IFA study showed that roughly 3.2 million full-time employees would be in limbo because of the law.

Has anybody else noticed that the goverment has not reported figures as to the number of Americans who have actually signed up for exchange-based coverage???

You would have thought that they would be releasing those numbers on a daily basis, touting how great it is. Instead not a word.

I'm thinking that a lot of those "callers", were people trying to get someone to explain what those who voted for it don't even understand.

I love how you completely dishonest brain addled pablum lappers PRETEND the private sector yNEVER has any glitches when the launch a new product.

I just wish you could also see how stupid, dishonest and fucked up you are

:rofl2:

Any PRIVATE company that opened up like this in the first week would already be out of business. You would have thought the Obama administration with three years to prepare for this, that they would have seeked advice from some of the big names in Internet commerece, such as Amazon, Google and the like.

An IT pro speaks:

I spent 28 years in data communications systems, designing, selecting equipment, training the technical people, and implementing the networks.

This was with the largest insurance company in the US.

Never did a network go out untested with a simulated network installed with the exact same equipment and software which was going to be implemented in its entirety.

Obama had access to the most brilliant individuals ( i.e. MIT, Cal Poly, Harvard,) and unlimited dollars to get this thing right the first time it launched.

He failed and he's not capable, ergo, many failures initially and more to come.

"...mainstream economists aren’t seeing anything like the catastrophe Republicans have foretold, and they don’t anticipate a calamity, either.

That is because only 3 percent of small businesses — those with fewer than 500 employees — have more than 50 workers, so 97 percent of small employers are exempt from the law’s mandates. Meanwhile, virtually all large companies already offer health insurance to their employees. Aside from things such as reporting requirements, Obamacare’s mandates will directly obligate only about 1 percent of American businesses to do anything different."

You mean the Amazon that crashes on Thanksgiving weekend because it's so busy?

You mean the Amazon that crashes on Thanksgiving weekend because it's so busy?

Got a source for that?

Amazon.com's homepage returned after a rare outage that left the site inaccessible for about an hour. (Jan. 31, 2013).

According to data from Web performance monitoring firm Apica, Amazon's homepage went down at 2:32 p.m. and was back by 3:21.

The outage was short, but it's extremely rare for Amazon.com to crash. Amazon depends on heavy e-commerce traffic, especially around the holidays, so it has famously massive server capacity to handle traffic spikes. Even a few minutes of downtime can cost the company millions.

Its powerful "elastic" infrastructure, called EC2, is designed to minimize downtime as much as possible. Amazon also runs a sideline business, called Amazon Web Services, hosting other websites. Amazon Web Services remained unaffected by Thursday's outage.

Although people trying to shop for health insurance on Louisiana’s new online marketplace continue to be stymied Thursday by computer glitches and long waits, two of the insurance companies selling policies through the federally run “Obamacare” website reported a small number of sales in the past couple of days.

In New Orleans, one of the organizations that aims to help sign up uninsured people during the open enrollment period reported that staff members remained unable to get past the initial screens on the website. This means Southern United Neighborhoods’ five “navigators” — staffers trained to guide people through the insurance purchasing process — have not yet seen exactly what plans are available.

While some states are operating their own websites, Louisiana residents, along with those in 35 other states, are all logging onto the website run by the federal health agency.

Insurance giant Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, which intends to sell marketplace policies in every parish, reported that the company received news of seven applications for policies overnight from the federal government.

Vantage Health Plan, a Monroe-based company, knew of five policies sold through the marketplace, a spokesman said Thursday morning.

Hilarious. 12 policies sold and libs declare "victory"?

So your solution is to debunk the program because of glitches? What if Apple gave up so quickly? What if medical device manufacturers gave up? What if Drug companies gave up.
