i used to vote repub, but have changed over the years - i liked the repubs better when they were fiscal conservatives and not so heavy against workers -also, they used to be more for civil rights

I find it interesting how people attempt to shut off all debate with personal attacks based on what they want something to be rather than what it is.
Personally, I say he is none of those things. There is a reason he's getting more of the Hispanic vote in all the polls than Hick, and it isn't because he's "Xenophobic". Tanc supports legal immigration and has disdain only for those who violate our laws.
You know Damo, I find Tancredo to be a racist thug, but now that I know you like him, I will give him a second look. Perhaps I misjudged. Knowing you, there must be something more to him. Thanks for your insight on this.

Where we are about to elect our first woman governor (even though I can't stand most of her policies)? Where we have two stellar, choking, gagging, football teams to root for?
Seriously, Oklahoma is more of a "I'm here because I was born here" state. I love it and don't ever plan to leave. But it ain't retirement material unless you left here to work and are ready to retire and move back....like several of my cousins have done.

What's really the difference between the Democrats and Republicans in Oklahoma?
From where I sit it is mainly taxes and education. That's why I'll be voting for the democratic candidate in almost every state office election this cycle....though it won't do any good. Most of them don't have a snowball's chance in Southern California....or the other place....both about the same to me.

I don't know Hickenlooper (what a name) but why on earth would anyone be surprised if it turns out Tancredo isn't electable in COlorado?
We're not talking about Alabama here. I would be shocked if he did get elected.
