They are totally incapable of understanding that everything we enjoy today is the result of sacrifice by others. Others gave up part of their paychecks so we could have education and schools and roads to get us there. Others gave up some of their earnings so that we could have the other infrastructure that we take for granted. They gave up some of their salary so that we have law enforcement, fire fighters, and the military to protect us.
