Green energy harming the environment

Sorry, Yurtsie - I've consulted w/ the board elders, and unfortunately, that one classifies as a "fail."

Better luck next time...

there is no fail. you have your head up your rear end and believe only what you want to believe. it is a common ailment among those who can't think for themselves.

i find it truly humorous that the two posters who NEVER link up when i ask, now demand i link up for them. you two are nothing but disingenuous dishonest hacks.

Translation: I haven't really heard numerous uber lefties - or any uber lefties, for that matter - spout that green energy doesn't do any harm to the environment.

i already googled for you idiots earlier in the thread.

lol

You did? Where, in the link you provide below? Because I didn't ask you for a list of articles and op-ed pieces, I asked...can you name at least THREE "uber lefties" who claim green energy doesn't harm the environment...

u mad

yours truly,

i will offer an addendum to "usually" doesn't harm the environment. i have read some far left wackos who claim it doesn't harm the environment.

Also, please explain that last sentence above...are you now saying that "uber lefties" claim green energy "USUALLY" doesn't harm the environment?

So once again, feel free to drop some names of "uber lefties" who claim green energy doesn't harm the environment...

tff...zappa wants links but won't link when i ask him

pound sand hypocrite

btw...not everything one hears or learns is from the internet. get a life.

Just as I thought...if you HAD the info, you'd post it in order to humiliate me even more...thanks for admitting you were lying earlier.

great....so zappa now admits, using HIS logic, that all the times he refused to link up.....he was lying.

thanks for that zappa. you are now a self admitted liar.

I don't know what "never" means in the American experience. TV will never be more than a novelty; we'll never put a man on the moon; computers will never be something for personal use.

Whatever. Scientific progress is always exponential, and always yields unexpected results.

Correct.
Maybe they can fnd a way to not only kill 70 Eagles; but also 60 Geese a laying, 50 Golden Starlings, 40 Calling Birds, 30 French Hens, 20 Turtle Doves, and 10 Partridges in the Pear Trees. :)

I get that you're beholden to the oil industry. Frankly, it's the one area in politics/economics where you do not think rationally on this board.

Yes, Dude - oil is what is considered a finite resource.

Hate to break it to ya....

When's the end date then?

Is that what you're left with after all of this?

I didn't think it was smart. I don't think I can remember any post from you that I would remotely classify as "smart."

I'm sure someone like ID loved it though. Take heart - you still have fans out there...

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Now it's obvious why you only said that if the accusations were true, would the situation be disgusting.
It's because DARLA made the accusations against ID and you wanted to jump on Darla's band wagon; but you wanted some wiggle room, in case the tires came off.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

So you agree that everytime you've refused to link up, you were lying...it's nice to see you finally taking ownership of your horseshit.

LOL OK, that was nice illiteration but the point being is that windmills killing some birds doesn't exactly discredit the technology. This looks to me like a solvable problem.

how? put up big nets?
Move them to another location where they're not in the migration path of birds or maybe ultrasonic whistles that scare the birds away from the location. Those are just suggestions but given enough thought, I'm sure there's a solution to this particular problem.

i don't think the location method would always work as location is key to their function. the whistle idea is a good one though.

Again, those are just suggestions. I'm sure there are plenty of locations not in migratory pathways that would be better suited and maybe this should be focused on more during the permitting process. I know we have some pretty obvious migratory flightways in Ohio, the ones for Ducks and Geese I'm not to concerned about as they fly high and fast and are very intelligent birds. Raptors on the other hand fly low and slow, are primarily gliders and are some of the dumbest birds there are. So permitting windmills in raptor migration paths probably isn't a good idea even if they are well suited locations for wind energy productions, that is unless, we are willing to make that sacrifice and incure X numbers of raptor deaths. Not a complete solution for sure. The ultrasonic whistle idea, or something like that, could be a good low tech solution. Like I said, some thought and research can probably solve this problem.

Wait, OT but you think ducks are intellegent? Raptors are dumb?
