Guns

Those would be illegal guns and if someone is buy them illegally, then why go across a State line.
Smuggling is an old and established kind of work.
Someone can walk into a gun store, in another State; but if you can't prove residency in that State, then they're not going to let you walk out with anything and you'll have to arrange to have them shipped to a store in your State.
Who said anything about a gun store? Who said anything about restricting it to crossing just a State line?
But the whiners weren't talking about illegal transactions; because they were referencing buying them from a legal dealer.
What is a 'legal' dealer?

What in the Constitution of the United States gives the federal government power to declare what gun dealer is 'legal' or not?
Isn't that giving the federal government the power to declare any manufacturer, dealer, or any other merchant 'illegal' simply by an arbitrary scale that is popular at the time? Isn't that building an oligarchy that has this tremendous power?

In other words, just what in the Constitution gives Congress the authority to create the BATF?

Typical non-answer.

No a typical non-answer would be what you keep replying with.
