Guns

It’s an open forum, bitch. Or haven’t you noticed that?

Not a big fan of reading are you Domer? I’d love to see the length of the stick up your ass that you get so triggered by someone asking someone else their opinion on an issue.

Nope, taintstain, I never said that. You illiterate cunts keep making assumptions based on words that were never said.

That’s why you will always be an illiterate cunt.

You've already been challenged on your "figures" and it's been shown that you just trying to lump suicides in with homicides, just so you can use the higher number.

Go ahead and post every one of them, pal. I’ll wait

Nope dumbfuck, I’m not “lumping” anything, you stupid illiterate fuck. Gun deaths are gun deaths. The number is the number, shitstain. Try as you might, it’s a fact

And why do you think we have the highest incidence of gun deaths in western culture, dumbshit?

Try to be honest for once.

Speaking of dumbfucks, why are you scared to separate homicides from suicides?

What makes you think that suicides will be reduced by removing firearms??

Explain this information:

Crude_US_suicide_rate_by_age_1981-2016.png

Why isn't the rate for 75+ at or above the 1981 to 1996/1998 figures?

Why isn't the rate for 65-74 at or above the 1981 to 1991 figures?

Why is the rate for 45 to 64 numbers climbing above the 1986 numbers, since around 2005?

Why where the 25 to 44 numbers fairly the same, until around 2010/2011?

Why haven't the 15 to 24 numbers as in 1994/1995?

Why did the 10 to 14 numbers begin rising around 2013/2014

I'm not a gun guy so I can't speak with great insights about them. But from an outside perspective when school shootings occur we often hear it's due to increased access to guns. I believe murders in this country peaked in the early '90's and have basically dropped since with a possible uptick in a given year or two. I don't know what suicide numbers with guns look like.

If increased (access to) guns are causing more school shootings how are murder rates able to drop? Not to say they have to go in tandem but it does seem if there is more access to guns wouldn't murders be increasing as well?

Stupid fuck is trying to justify the highest gun violence rate in western cultures. Uses an absurd reference to the 18th century.

What a fucking dumbshit.
Yet remove less than a dozen gang-infested inner-cities from the statistics, and we're just about as safe as Canada and most Western European countries. That's a pretty clear indicator that guns are not the problem that you want them to be and that the true solution is somewhere else. Somewhere where you refuse to look.

The gun laws will change , as the old white Christians die off and the electorate places sane gun laws in place
Since no gun control law has ever been demonstrated to have made things better, your desire for even more of what has never worked in the past is a perfect example of Einstein's definition of insanity.

Death by gun: Top 20 states with highest rates

red dumbfuck jesusland states are at the top

Of course it's a huge surprise that suicide is so common in Alaska. Winter for nine months out of the year.
Note that Canada has provinces that regularly have homicide rates that exceed the U.S. average. Australia's Northern Territory is another such example. OTOH, Vermont with perhaps the loosest gun laws in the U.S. has one of the lowest homicide rates. Clearly, guns aren't the root of the problem and stricter gun laws are not a solution.

Yeah, you ignorant fucks keep trying to apply your own filters to justify the violence. Close to 40,000 gun deaths lastvyear.

Highest in the western culture.

Rationalize that, bitch.

We also have the highest poverty rate in western culture and the greatest divide between the wealthy and everyone else. Those are issues that lead to increased crime. There are also our insane drug laws. We're just repeating the errors of Prohibition, and promoting large and violent criminal gangs.

You are obsessed with guns and refuse to look at the issue from any other perspective. You are the one with the filter.

How about laws, similar to the rest of civilized societies, that restrict guns and their access?
And none of those laws has made any difference. They only 'work' where they weren't needed in the first place. Where they were 'needed', they've failed miserably.

Now, illiterate cuntwhistle, where did I mention homicides? I didn’t, did I bitch? Gun deaths.

Can you ignorant cockbites wrap your heads around that rather than try to filter it through your own ignorant pissant minds?
So, no rational argument, just ad hominems.

Nope, never said that, illiterate cunt. You stupid fucks keep making assumptions on things that were never claimed. That’s why you will always be illiterate shitstains.
While you are a raving maniac on this subject, completely incapable of anything even approaching rationality.

First of all, gun deaths fall into multiple categories. Suicide is one of those categories. You might note some inconvenient facts, such as that Japan, with virtually no guns in civilian hands, until recently had a suicide rate that exceeded our combined homicide and suicide rates. And that Canada, despite their strict gun laws, has provinces that regularly have homicide rates that would be considered quite high in the U.S.. Despite your obsessive and simplistic approach to the problem, it's unlikely that a single solution exists for all of those categories.

It seems likely that the reduction is due to taking the lead out of gasoline. Mother Jones did a series on it. Google "lead criminal element" and it should pop up.
