Has China squandered its golden opportunity to overtake the US?

Big Bean?????!?

No, I do not work for Kraft Foods, Monsanto, or Bayer AG.

I own my own company manufacturing instrumentation for industrial, aerospace, medical, entertainment markets. I sell internationally. I am located in the United States.
good for you.

Red China never offered anything but labor racketeering and no pollution controls, which made them the darlings of big business, Wall Street, and chain store scams. Their 'middle class' is the same 'middle class' it had under Mao, Cadre gangsters. It's GDP numbers and economic stats have always been faked junk, pretty much like our own Fed's numbers. All those giant banks and multi-nationals who backed BLM hate crimes and violence didn't do so because they suddenly developed a social conscience, they did so because Communists are their fellow Corporatists and technocratic monopoly rule fans.

Au contrare.

Red China offers tyranny, autocracy, fascism, and communism.
Some people like that kind of government. Democrats, for example.

As far as "junk"...
China has various product manufacturers, just like anybody else. Yes...there is capitalism in China, just as there is fascism and communism.
People like to buy some of those products. They're cheap and of sufficient quality than other sources. Also, there are products that ARE inferior and people don't buy them from China. They get them from somewhere else so they can get the quality they want.

For example:
China is a good supplier of certain chemicals, some mechanical items, fireworks (until recently), and other items.
There are better suppliers of oil products, plastics, food, and lumber, such as the United States.
There are better suppliers of electronic components, automobiles, trucks, lenses, and other types of chemicals, such as Japan.

You can get much better textiles in Mexico, Canada, and the United States. Shoes tend to be made in China and Mexico, and the United States.

It all depends on what you want.

Yes, all directed toward labor racketeering and spewing toxic waste over their own people.

Other people do most of the production, foreign companies; they are required to have Red Chinese 'partners', all Cadre or relatives of Cadres, with fake job titles and the like.

The 'junk' I was referring to are their self-published economic claims, the fictional growth rates. etc., all Party approved. Most of the quality goods are made in foreign owned factories with foreign managers.

Why do you say this??????!? He just spoke out against Chinese products! Are you so twitchy that you just type stuff like this as an automatic response to anything? No...don't bother to answer that question. I already know the answer.

Yes, that was weird, but it's common on political boards, where a bunch of dilettantes are just running around parroting stuff without knowing what they're talking about, but they have a peer group they want to suck up to.

lots of companies love the wage slavery.

it's private companies using fascism and slavery to compete.

it's morally wrong.

business is meant to be conducted inside a moral framework of other considerations.

hence... kiddie porn is illegal.... as one example.

slave goods should be completely disallowed on American shores in a likewise fashion.

:truestory:

So this is why he posted such a random statement? Not a bad argument. He DOES tend to just chant quite a lot, usually in some language that isn't even English.
