BRI is the chinese version of the IMF.
Tariffs now!
this single act will destroy the sickly dragon.
It aint sickly, it was sickly.. decoupling is impossibe -we couldn't come close to mfg. cheap consumer goods -
much needed because of inflation. I gotta get a new 4.1 home receiver for my Infinity quad set
and prices are high ( I want Dennon or equivalent) Im buying Black Friday
``
anyways cheap phones help people run small business. some countries are all wireless economies
The thing to do is press China on trade -not "decouple" which would be disastrous
it's fully possible to decouple. but i just want reciprocal tariffs. and decoupling if necessary.
you're just a stupid and brainwashed globalist idiot.
china is a paper tiger full of go along to get along idiots.
hardly. but you remind me why i dont post much here anymore, with insults without content being a norm
It's not quie that bad NOW but that is the trajectory we are on, They beat us at soft power and are on traxk to swamp us with hard powerThat's a problem, and so is people not understanding reality....China's economy is larger and much stronger than Americas, their military is likely as good or better than ours is and they are ramping up fast, and they are currently striping America of our allies.
Its America that is in deep shit, not China.

What they cant design, they simply steal (espionage). Despite current problems they are a rising power and i think we are headed the other way. the sheer debt interest is supposed to be 2 trillion by 2030 (just the interest) so that's gonna crowd out a lot of DoD spending too

China should have been the best ally of the United States. The United States has high-tech and finance, while China has manufacturing. China is the link between the United States and third world countries, and the combination of China and the United States can promote world peace.
(Good morning, injecting some positive energy into today's life)
It is that bad now....America is in collapse and there will be no saving it.....that needed to happen 20 years ago at the latest.
The Chinese are winning the global argument with their story about how America is a terrorist nation which must be removed from global power....that would be Justice.
that and the fact we cannot be counted on. China points to Keystone for ex. How many times was that approved and then stopped? Or our wild swings in foreign policy. Biden is fucking globalist to the max, but Trump isn't going to just fork over 100's of billions for Ukraine -expecially since a good part of it is for paying for their roads, teachers, English instructions and whatnot. there is an excellent article you can red online about how America (not teh globalists) has had it with Zeklenky's "no negotiations" stance.
It also shows how corrupt and worthless Uk society/politics are.

‘Nobody Believes in Our Victory Like I Do.’ Inside Volodymyr Zelensky’s Struggle to Keep Ukraine in the Fight
https://time.com/6329188/ukraine-volodymyr-zelensky-interview/
Some 41% of Americans want Congress to provide more weapons to Kyiv, down from 65% in June, when Ukraine began a major counteroffensive, according to a Reuters survey taken shortly after Zelensky’s departure. That offensive has proceeded at an excruciating pace and with enormous losses, making it ever more difficult for Zelensky to convince partners that victory is around the corner.
...his belief in Ukraine’s ultimate victory over Russia has hardened into a form that worries some of his advisers. It is immovable, verging on the messianic. “He deludes himself,” one of his closest aides tells me in frustration. “We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that.”
... the city of Horlivka, a strategic outpost in eastern Ukraine that the Russians have held and fiercely defended for nearly a decade. The answer came back in the form of a question: With what? “They don’t have the men or the weapons,” says the officer. “Where are the weapons? Where is the artillery? Where are the new recruits?”
In some branches of the military, the shortage of personnel has become even more dire than the deficit in arms and ammunition. One of Zelensky’s close aides tells me that even if the U.S. and its allies come through with all the weapons they have pledged, “we don’t have the men to use them.”
ccording to U.S. and European estimates, the toll has long surpassed 100,000 on each side of the war. It has eroded the ranks of Ukraine’s armed forces so badly that draft offices have been forced to call up ever older personnel, raising the average age of a soldier in Ukraine to around 43 years. “They’re grown men now, and they aren’t that healthy to begin with,” says the close aide to Zelensky.
Some lies.....China is determined that America be the worlds premier shit-hole country for as far as the eyes can see as vengeance for what we have done
That's not a lie, but a fact. For many years, we have produced cheap goods for American consumers, and the dollars we earned are used to buy American treasury(To support federal government spending) and other American goods, including aircraft, semiconductor chips, and agricultural products. There are a large number of American companies profiting in China. We also sent the smartest students to study in the United States, and most of them stayed in the US, serving the interests of the United States.
China is getting out of cheap manufacturing as global domination ramps up, that was but the first stage of this new flowering of the Empire.
It worked like a charm...the American economy is gutted.....we did it voluntarily.
"But look at the American GDP!"
Barf.
Nowadays, the key to manufacturing is no longer cheap labor.
You can easily find that there is never a shortage of cheap labor in the world. There are cheap labor in Africa, South America, and everywhere.
However, developing industry is far from that simple.
it is "latin america" or "south america"?
i don't know
