Has Trump become the new O.J.?

No one needed to condition the Trump supporters. The Republicans were well conditioned with Racism, Abuse of Power, Self-Interest, Corruption, Xenophobia, Homophobia, Misogyny, Lies, Fake News, Conspiracy Theories, Hatred for others, bigotry, and White Nationalism before Donald Trump reigned in on their hatred to become their "Messenger of Hate" for them.

I will give you credit for never tiring of looking like a dumbass. ;)

So the trial was before my time, but based on what I've seen from documentaries, it seems like OJ's team did everything they could to shift the focus onto a racist cop and this actually worked. Instead of OJ being on trial, it ended up being about this cop. Republicans actually tried the same thing by shifting focus to Hunter Biden and the Democrats.
Of course, there are still differences. We don't know if the jury in the OJ trial was biased, whereas with Trump, a few of the Republicans openly admitted they didn't care about evidence.
I followed the trial very closely. The defense redirection consisting of portraying one of the police officers and Assistant D.A.'s as being racist.
It is the same thing that Trump does with his "Fake News" crappola every time he gets unfavorable press.

And during the impeachment, the Republicans mostly attacked the process, because they couldn't defend Trump's actions. I guess it's kind of fitting, since Trump's lawyer also represented OJ.

Much of America followed the trial closely considering it dominated the news 24/7. The police officer was racist as was the LAPD. You disagree?

And this is a weird analogy. OJ was one of the most beloved people in America. Trump was never ever close to that. OJ was persona non grata in polite society post his trial. Some polls show Trump favored to win re-election. Your analogy doesn't even come close to making sense.
