The point was the interruptions, not what I think of the "reason" they did it. Just pointing out that this is 100% a "both sides do it" thing. Watching the Speaker tear up a copy of a speech like a child throwing a tantrum and pointing out that democrats interrupted the SOTU speeches while Trump was in office when responding to a post saying that the democrats "never have" is pretty much the correct response to such an absurd claim.

Have the democrats done the same thing? Yes. Even you remember it, your first response was defending the "why" not saying they didn't do it. Your defense is: "But they (the democrats) did it for a reason I like!"

You went from chain migration back to heckling. It is too bad for the rights that they called Biden a liar when we have videos of speeches where they said exactly what he claimed. Lee was so upset. Then a speech saying precisely that came out. This is like the Daly show. They say it and you show video proof they're lying.
, When did I say I approve of heckling by anyone? I think it makes the hecklers look very bad. In my view, they damage themselves.
That does not mean presidents should lie.
Trump quit having the SOTU speeches. He is a thin-skinned baby . It is the same for the presidential dinners. Trump would not attend. He also tried o hold rallies at the same time to take attention away from the dinner and the comedian.
