Congress does not certify electoral votes. States do that.

The DEMOCRAT FBI agents caused the rioting and organized entering the capital building. Trump was still giving his speech when it happened!

Unconstitutional elections since and including 2020 so far I've noted:
Washington, the SDTC, the SOTNY, the SODC, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and West Virginia.
None of these states and territories ever chose their electors either.

Trump's second impeachment was January 13, 2021. His term did not expire until January 20 when President Biden was sworn into office.
 
Right that is the date he was impeached the 2nd time. The first one was Dec. 13th, 2019. Trump should have triskaidekaphobia by now.

Yes it was. An article of impeachment was introduced in the House and on January 13 that article was passed by the House. That article passed the House which was all that was necessary for impeachment.

Nope. It's not an impeachment until they file it with the Senate. It's only a vote to file it with the Senate. It was not filed with the Senate on Jan 13. It was not filed until after Trump vacated office. The Senate threw it out on those grounds.

The Senate did not throw it out. They held an impeachment trial and 57 Senators voted guilty resulting in Trump's acquittal.

Secretary of War Belknap resigned but was still impeached. The Senate began an impeachment trial after agreeing it retained impeachment jurisdiction over former government officials.
