A good way of letting others know where you stand and what you support is to brand yourself with a particular logo. Convenient for potential relationships, conversations, avoidance...etc.

If that was the only reason, I'd have a problem with it. But I'm ok with banning political symbols that endorse and can cause violence. Swastikas are also banned in most high schools. In Eastern Europe, a lot of schools ban Communist imagery.

Those wearing them aren't endorsing or causing the violence. It's the pussies that get their tender feelings hurt seeing something they don't like that endorses and causes violence not those wearing it.

And let's be clear here, the MAGA symbol isn't banned in the country, it's only banned in a high school where free speech is much more limited. There are a lot of restrictions on behavior in school, that we don't have outside of school.

Free speech allows you to endorse or advocate anything you choose. You can advocate the violent overthrow of the government, sex with minors, or anything else (but much more limited in schools).
