It could have been me, I was much more strident back then. I played purity politics until I realized how stupid it is. And also that would have been prior to Kaine's voting record in the Senate which I think has been excellent on choice. Maybe he changed too.

I have to say one thing about this piece - they don't point out one fact that is absolutely a certainty to me. NO Democratic man would fight as hard as Hillary Clinton to protect, and EXPAND a woman's right to choose. That includes Bernie Sanders and has always included him. That's why Hillary came out on the offensive to 86 Hyde, and you never saw Bernie doing it. It's why I support Hillary so strongly. So the fact that it's possibly, even likely, that Kaine left to his own devices would not be as strong an advocate for women's health as Hillary, well, yeah that's true. And that puts him in the same company as every other Democratic man in office today. You saw President Obama champion getting rid of Hyde right?

McDonnell vs. Kaine.......shows the double standard is alive and well in politics......
I don't think either is guilty of breaking any laws, but one of them (and his wife) suffered character assassination at the hands of the Democrats and left wing media.....
The Supreme Court unanimously threw out the conviction of former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell.
Odd that should happen right before Hillary picks Kaine. who did exactly the same thing that McDonnell was convicted of...
