No, since there is supposed to be no sex, asking for a condom is admitting to breaking prison rules and subject to being put into solitary. Nobody is going to ask for a condom in prison with the rules as they currently are.

It is unrealistic to pretend that they will, and all to protect the spread of AIDS in prison, which is largely spread by forced sex.

Prisoners can get condoms from their visitors without admitting to the guards they are breaking the rules. That's the place they'll get them, not from the prison administration.

visitors in prison are allowed to give uninspected things to prisoners ? darn if I get in there i will just have someone bring me a bit of C4, detcord and some caps.

No, but guards do not take condoms away from visitors. They are not dangerous and none of their business. If a woman brings some condoms in her purse they do not take them from her.

No, you are being deliberately disingenuous. Having sex will get him put there. Asking for a condom to do it is only an admission. Getting them through other means is no such admission.

You have clearly never had a friend that went to jail.
