I didn't say anything one way or the other about what rich people can or cannot or should or should not do. Hillary's first presidential run ran out of cash early.

I have no idea why you believe that was her best chance to win. Bush won 31 states and 286 Electoral delegates. Bush had a 62% average approval rating over his first term. He was treated with white gloves by the media during that election as a post-9/11, We are at War guilt I guess. There is no way she could have beaten him. Nobody could have beaten him that year. Things didn't turn sideways for his presidency until after the re-election. That was when the media and the public turned against Iraq.

The country was turning against the war.The Democrats ran a unpopular Wooden Indian,who didn't defend himself against swift boat!
She had ever chance to win,much better than Kerry.
She would have made Bush look stupid in debates!

I'm not looking at it from the standpoint of chronological age but of the hypocrisy by those that said at 69 years, 11 months Reagan was too old yet at 69 years, 3 month Hillary wasn't too old.

Changing Administrations in the middle of a war and control of the government would have been seen as betraying the troops; Bush beat Gore because of the anti-Clinton sentiments to begin with. Bush wouldn't have lost.
