It's called water and firefighters. California has fires every year, and it's just like Libtards in control to cut the fire department and let precious water flow into the ocean to save a fish that's not endangered. Hmmmm I wonder if more water and firefighter might have saved some lives and/or homes?? Not all homes, but many, as it was demonstrated Wednesday night when FIREFIGHTERS saved an entire neighborhood with WATER. Try to slap yourself in the face and wake up as many Californians are doing. I won't be surprised if California goes Red after this one. Sad it takes such tragedy to show undeniable proof of Libtard lunacy.

Large budgets would not have stopped this.

Mayors, and the Governor actually, physically fighting the fires would not have stopped this.

A city’s water system can handle a large hotel fire, a mall or several houses on fire at one time, but no city’s water system can handle 9,000+ structures burning and thousands of ambers being spread by the Santa Ana Winds.

This fire was Mother Nature at her worst.

If a fire of this magnitude was devastating Texas, there would be no MAGAT racist chatter about "DEI hires." Instead, they'd be wringing their hands and praying (publicly and loudly of course) for "OMG those poor people."

As one of this thread's participants has said "Let no tragedy go unpoliticized." (Only I paraphrased it a bit more grammatically. lol)

Will be interesting to see if these conflagrations are increasingly linked to climate change . The apocalyptic fires in Australia seem to be partly linked to climate

Poor little Owlbabe is lost in the sauce again. I've yet to hear anyone claim DEI causes fires, but wasting money on DEI while slashing vital services the public pays top dollar for? Hiring based on DEI goals just encourages those who aren't up to the job. That I've heard.

Just think about the tiny sliver of applicants who are confused about their own body parts. Now, imagine how much brainpower they have left to tackle the complex problems of a major city after their daily mental gymnastics.

It is DEMOCRATS that made it practically impossible to provide fire insurance in the SDTC. Did you know many of those that lost everything have NO INSURANCE??

It is DEMOCRATS that banned diesel engines used to fight fires, run railroads and trucks, etc.

The fuel is brush that was not cleared away (due to environmentalist Democrats).
The ignition source are arsonists, starting wildfire intentionally in the name of the Church of Global Warming (Democrats).
The lack of water was caused by Democrats.
The lack of sufficient power was caused by Democrats.
