For some reason they have chosen to pretend parts of the Old Testament do not exist, and chosen that other parts of the Old Testament are law. It is interesting coincidence that it fits with modern culture and the way they want to live today.

Humans are forgiven, even before they are born. It’s love from God that causes it, there is nothing we must do to earn it or attain it, it’s simply is the way of the world.

They have a sickness or malignancy inside them that they are having trouble releasing, often I think it is due to a parent who was physically or verbally abusive. They believe themselves to be bad and can’t shake the sickness.

If they could except that they are automatically loved and forgiven, the malignancy would disappear.

You might not be wrong about a few "choosing." But ultimately, people don't control their attractions.

"There is fault on both sides" sounds like Trump re: Charlottesville. I'd agree that PC & all that is annoying - but it does nowhere near the damage that discrimination against LGBTQ does.

The person who reads the above passages alone cannot help but to come to the conclusion that homosexuality is sinful according to the Bible. Above in your quotes the only place sin is mentioned puts Sinners and Sodomites in separate categories.
