Homosexuality is not a sin

The Federal Reserve prints dollars and issues coins. The order to the US Mint is from the Federal Reserve. See the words "Federal Reserve Note" on the currency?

The Federal Reserve does have say, under authority of Congress. Congress directs the Federal Reserve.

Inversion fallacy.

Badly worded, but yes...most dollars are bits. Electronic in form. That number is controlled by Congress through the Federal Reserve. It's called 'M1'

I never said everything bad is government. I never said everything private is angelic, pure, or moral.
Word stuffing.

congress has shirked it's duty as you already admitted.

things on paper is different than reality as you know, being an adult.

you would have to provide some logic to assess. so far its just snark.

I think we're done here
Strongly disagreed here. I believe God is all powerful, all knowing and all merciful. You believe God is more human.

Obviously you don't have to discuss anything you do not care to discuss.

Do we tell people with blue eyes, "you're not normal?"

Do we try to get people with blue eyes to go to clinics to "un-blue" their eyes?

We usually tell them they are "exotic". Whether you tell them they are "not normal" is up to you, but the reality is they are not. They are relatively rare, not normal.

you already admitted congress has left it all up to the fed.

please stfu.

People at the fed could make better decisions too. they don't.

they don't deserve the power they have been given.

The Book in a Nutshell
In 1910, a small group of individuals that made up over a quarter of the world’s wealth met and gathered on a small island off the coast of Brunswick to agree the blueprint for the Federal Reserve. In The Creature from Jekyll Island, Edward Griffin forensically set outs the dangers of the Federal Reserve, fiat money and the fractional-reserve banking system. Through its capacity to create money from nothing, Griffin argues that the Federal Reserve is not only incapable of achieving its stated objectives, but instead creates economic instability, encourages war, and ultimately acts as an instrument of totalitarianism.

Correct. Abnormal or "not normal" is used by idiots to denote wrongness, but it only means not within the norm.

I'm left handed. 90% of the world is right handed. I'm outside the norm.

Correct. Just being rare doesn't mean "wrong". I prefer to be rare. Other rare things that are not "normal" but are good. Those of us with high IQs. Folks who like to speak in public... a Statesman...

"Be different" is what we tell our kids then get upset when folks notice that it isn't the norm...

Rare? Like some members of JPP are so demented that they are "rare"? LOL

Agreed that both ends of the IQ Bell Curve are "rare" since they are outside the normal range.

And it's not "abnormal." People are born homosexuals, just as they are born heterosexuals.

You're confusing "normal" with "natural".

If someone is born with a cleft palette or a club foot, it's certainly not "normal", but it is natural...

I'd actually argue that treating gay people any differently from heterosexuals is an affront to God's creative intent.

So, you would be okay with getting rid of "gay pride" parades and LGBT History Month?

After all, when was the last time you attended a "straight pride" parade or spent an entire month celebrating the history of heterosexuals?

The conservative attitude (generally speaking) toward homosexuality is a disgrace. They hide behind the religion and "hate the sin, but not the sinner" platitudes, but so much of their attitude and their actions has a foundation more firmly rooted in hate than love or spirituality. It's typical fear. Something is "different." Something is "not like me."

I would disagree with that.

I don't know too many conservatives who "hate" gays. Interestingly enough, though, I know gays who, without evidence, claim that conservatives hate them...

We need more understanding & tolerance in the world. Much more. If something has no effect on your life - what's it to ya?

Let me give you a scenario: If someone in Minnesota rapes and murders a 10 year old girl, and you live in Florida, "what's it to ya?" After all, that wouldn't affect you at all, correct?

Only about 5-10% of people are born homosexuals.
0% of people are born homosexuals.

Therefore, they are not the "norm" meaning they are abnormal.
The person's behavior is abnormal.

You want to attach a negative connotation to the term abnormal when it only means they deviate from the norm.

A 6'7" inch person deviates from the norm as does a person with a 150 I.Q. Abnormal can be a positive thing.
Indeed, it is not necessarily a negative thing for something to be abnormal, but with regard to homosexuality, it is definitely a negative thing.

A main negative with regard to homosexuality is that it is a completely fruitless action (IOW, reproduction is impossible). It is also an entirely selfish act, as it yields nothing other than a temporary self-pleasure "high" (akin to one "getting high" via drugs). That sort of behavior is quite destructive.

About 9 percent of Americans are born LGTB. They do not decide to become gay. God decided it for them. They're acting as god made them.

You never had sex without trying to get your partner pregnant? If so, wasn't that a "fruitless" action because you didn't reproduce? It didn't give you temporary self pleasure?

It would be an impossible stat to get, but I'd love to see the % of sex that takes place that is NOT for the purpose of procreation.

It's a high percentage, for sure.
