House may try to pass Senate health-care bill without voting on it

The link I provide clearly documents how the Shrub's policies contributed to the trillion dollar debt Obama INHERITED. Or are you going to take another toke on your crack pipe and say that Obama inherited a balanced budget?

$1.2 trillion of $1.4 trillion deficit was already projected before Bush left office. The CBO projected on January 7, 2009, that, including spending authorized under the Bush administration for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and government takeovers of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the deficit would total $1.2 trillion. According to the CBO, the actual FY 2009 deficit was $1.4 trillion.

And it was I that challenged YOU to provide ONE instance of a procedure that the DEMS used to pass healthcare reform that the GOP did not use in the pass. To date, you haven't met the challenge.

You're just a poor liar in denial, Southie...which makes you all the more pathetic neocon parrot.

Libbie, those programs were championed by your beloved Democrat Party. Again you failed to equate any policies that the GOP rammed through under Bush with this new trillion dollar entitlement that the Democrats alone voted for.

Okay, one more time for the cheapseats:

Republicans controlled the Senate for the forementioned, Southie. The 1995 Balanced Budget Act was passed in reconciliation. The final vote was 52 to 47. The 2001 Bush Tax Cut was passed in reconciliation. The final vote was 58 to 33. The 2003 Bush Tax Cut was passed in reconciliation. The final vote was 50 to 50, with Dick Cheney casting the tie-breaking vote. The 2005 Deficit Reduction Act was also passed in reconciliation with a 50 to 50 vote and a Cheney intervention. The 2006 Tax Relief Extensions Act was passed in reconciliation. The final vote was 54 to 44. All with GOP controlled Senate.

So for you to say/imply/assert/allude to/insinuate/allege that the Dems have used tactics to pass healthcare reform that the GOP hasn't used is WRONG.

Now, in order to save face, you say, "well, the GOP didn't do it for entitlement programs.

Wrong again:

This jives exactly what I said from the get-go:
Its never been used to spend money except by Democrats. The GOP has used it to control the budget in spite of Democrat objections.

Stop acting dumber than you are......the links I provided prove you wrong on BOTH levels...the GOP spent money on "entitlements" and sure as hell didn't "control" the budget as much as f**k it up beyond belief! Matters of fact and history. Now you're just being stubborn to the point of insipidness... and I could care less about you about your pitifull upcoming retorts, denials and regurgitation of disproved talking points. Carry on.

Tax cuts and budget cuts are "entitlements"? Not quite, Libby. What the People pay in taxes is their money, not the government's.

Here's the bitter pill that you must swallow: Reconciliation has never been used to spend money except by Democrats. The GOP has used it to control the budget in spite of Democrat objections. :readit:

Why don't YOU read the Forbes article for the first time...then try and tell me it didn't happen:

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay put so much pressure on Congressman Nick Smith of Michigan that the House Ethics Committee later admonished him for his actions, which came very close to bribery. DeLay also held the vote open for almost three hours in the middle of the night while arms were twisted to get the drug benefit passed. (Votes are normally 15 minutes.)

In the end, DeLay was successful in getting six conservatives to switch their votes from nay to yea and achieve victory; all but 25 House Republicans supported the creation of a vast new entitlement program that will cost taxpayers almost as much as Barack Obama's stimulus package over the next decade: $727 billion in general revenue contributions for the drug benefit versus $787 billion for the stimulus.

I swear, you true ignorance is only outshined by your incredible stubborness.

That bill was passed with Democrat support and without reconcilliation, Libbie.

READ, stupid, READ.....the Dems in this case didn't get the chance to fully assemble for a full vote....NO ONE DID. The GOP used underhanded methods to avoid reconcilliation or any OTHER voting methods....so much so that Delay got an ethics rap...that was prior to his getting the boot for similar charges.

And as shown in the other information I provided...the GOP used reconcilliation with relish!
FACTS that you cannot deny....or I should say a rational human being cannot deny.
Stop being a stubborn bumpkin....you look stupider than you are.

You're bringing up Delay to delay the inevitable, but you ADMIT that no reconciliation was used on his spending bill. Perhaps there is some hope for you. :good4u:

Now to ADMIT: reconciliation has never been used to spend money except by Democrats. The GOP has used it to control the budget in spite of Democrat objections. :)

You may continue to bray like an ass...but you cannot change the facts, no matter how hard you look the other way....and all who read thoroughly and objectively see your folly. Carry on.

Simply repeating your posts that I've already refuted means nothing. You failed. :)

:palm: You're almost magically dense. Since all you do is just regurgitate your idiocy in various forms, I don't waste time addressing what I've already corrected or disproved, I just refer to it.

You can claim failure....your having the logical proof to back up is something else entirely.

Keep smiling genius....you must have looked in the mirror and seen the joke. Buh-bye.

On your way out remember this: reconciliation has never been used to spend money except by Democrats. The GOP has used it to control the budget in spite of Democrat objections.

Goodnight gracie!

As usual, your link doesn't address the argument. :)

As usual, you just deny and lie, and then repeat the process. The rational and objective reading sees your folly. Now, repeat your bullshit for the last word, as it comforts you so despite it's futility. You're done.

Why is this thread still going? Even the Democrats rejected this idea and they wound up voting on the bill directly.

True, but with every issue that the neocons lose just makes them more bitter...hence they lash out in EVERY direction in an effort to try and salvage what is an unsalvagable defeat. Just look at Southie and Freedumb.....they're devolving into a personal slam fest, but can't just admit that the GOP got a reverse waterloo on healthcare reform.
