How Can Republicans Keep Supporting Such Sleazeballs? It Makes Absolutely No Sense!!

Diversity Makes Greatness
Whatever happened to selecting only the best people?

It seems like every single selection ends up being some kind of sleazeball.

If it's not illicit sex or victimizing, they are super-greedy and only look out for the super-wealthy.

And more of them end up slinking out of office in public shame or being fired than any other presidency.

And this is the party that claims the moral high ground?

How do these people go on supporting this circus?

You want to be on Trump's Team, you either have to either approve of his pussy-grabbing, or be a pussy-grabber yourself!

The Republican Party- More about Pussy-Grabbing- than you think!

The sleazier they are the more patriotic they are.

It's like all the ones who railed against sexual promiscuity and then were found out to be adulterers themselves.

Republican sex scandals far outnumber Dems, decade after decade.

Because they have no SET morals

their morals bob and weave as needed for them to obtain and retain power over others

remember Newt Gingrinch was fucking his much younger aide while saying Clinton should leave office for playing Dr with his much younger aide

they have NO SET MORALS

Don't forget Henry Hyde who claimed his own episodes were "youthful indiscretions".

When greed is the only unifying motivating factor for any group, expect a rodeo parade of psychopathic amoral sleazeballs.

Greedy, selfish people see women as conquests, another win. They are not people and certainly not equals. Trump is leading that from the top. Kavanaugh is just another one like the other ones.

There are no reasonable answers to your questions, Poli...

...because there is no reasonable response to what the Republican Party has become.

There was a time not long ago when the conservatives of America were the MUCH NEEDED loyal opposition...keeping reasonable check on the excesses of the left. (Because of their attitude toward government, I doubt they will ever be a party of effective, competent governance.)

But as the loyal opposition, it was an honorable party.

It no longer is. It has become a roach infested home for the pond scum of American politics.

I hope we get past this, but to be honest, I am feeling pessimistic about our doing so.

Don't want to be the boy who cried "wolf" too often...but we really seem to be seeing the decline of the American dream.

We still need good conservatives to keep us liberals in check.

And visa versa.

It is our diversity which makes us great.

The Republican party has been overwhelmed with greed and hatred.

They have become soldiers of the Class War.

We can fix our country and we must.

We have to get the big money out of politics.

We have to tell the billionaires to take a hike.

It's supposed to be a government of by and for the people.

Right now we have a government of by and for the corporations.

I agree.

I would love for the Republican Party to get its act in order...and retake its important position as the loyal opposition.

As for them assuming the mantle of governance, it is my personal opinion that they have remarkably little aptitude for it. They seem obsessed with the notion that government is the problem rather than a path toward solutions.

Thanks to Reagan. he started our long downfall.

I think so. At very least, he added an impetus to the fall that has not corrected yet.

To my lasting shame, I actually voted for him the first time. I was furious with Carter...and I was wrong.

I realized how wrong I was when listening to his first inaugural address...when he averred that government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem.

Anyway, thinking like that, the Republicans can't govern a medium sized Elks Lodge...let alone a country.

Which makes it super absurd that they want to be in charge of the thing they detest.

So if one follows their own argument then the thing to do is vote them out.

Cheney told Bush" don't worry about the deficits, Reagan proved they don't matter'[' That was another Reagan damage to the country, that caused Repubs to become debt creators. All while claiming to be fiscal conservatives.
