I reported mine to the local police. All they did was put her in some rehab type program.I had an employee writing prescriptions and selling them in the parking lot. He also sold a scrip pad to a young woman that I caught writing herself scripts. I called her before I turned her into the DEA. Her dad, a FBI agent, called me back and said his daughter would not do something like that. He said someone must have stolen her identity. I informed him that I had the address of the pharmacy that the prescription was presented to and it was in a different state and town from my clinic and was literally around the block from where his daughter lived. He moaned and said thank you and hung up the phone.
In retrospect I wish I had also reported her to Diversion Control.
What did the DEA do?
