How to cook corn in a microwave

Seemingly some people are unaware how to cook corn on the cob in a microwave.

much better way.....cut the stalk end of the ear off before microwaving......four minutes on medium.......with a heat proof glove grasp the tassel end and squeeze......completely cleaned ear squeezes out the end like toothpaste.....

Nah, it's actually pretty good. But I would NEVER cook it for the extended times listed here. One or two minutes TOPS. Pun intended. :D

depends on the microwave.....I like my corn to have a little snap to it.....perhaps you aren't thinking of the heat absorbed by the husk......the corn is actually being steamed by the moisture in the husks......

I'm sure it's OK....but I it's just too easy to do it any other way;)
