Two of mine started out looking that way, one, still does with a few minor changes, the other looks very different with all new furniture, and the third is a tactical takedown version so the look is different. I am a Prepper, so the 10/22 is an important base model that will serve one well for smaller game, and even, to some degree, personal defense, though I have better firearms for that task.

Always liked the AR7 as a backpack survival rifle, I do not have one but would love to have one, my brother in law has one the bottom version. Correct, not a tac driver, the sights are "different", but good enough to take a few tree rats or bunnies, which is the most likely need. Nice little rifle.

I went to a gun show today in Melbourne looking for some internal parts for a gun Im making I already have the milling done and the slide is done and been function tested on a glock frame. all I need to do now is some hand fitting file work maybe re mill the back rails, some polishing and fit the internals and work out the bugs.

there were several hundred people there . lots of guns accessory most of the prices were jacked up and very little ammo and almost no reloading supplys. lots of guns for sale from new guns to Antiques.

had my eye on a fairly good priced single action in .357 mag that would make a great cowboy action gun for competition

The local pawn shop/gun store closest to me is well over 90% sold out and has been that way for months. Fortunately, I'd learned my lesson in 2013 and haven't been caught short on anything.

a machine gun is restricted but you can own then , but they are ultra expensive and you have the same wait and atf approval process.
most machine guns are not selective fire but full auto only some are selective however, they also generally but not always fire heavy caliber ammo 308 and above , they are for substained fire over longer periods and often have barrels that are changeable when they get hot

I agree, Federal law does not, but I have had kin that had full auto weapons. State laws often stomp on the 2nd amendment as well.
