Another unintended consequence of tariffs: Some American importers will cancel existing orders and/or not place new ones because their customers won't or cannot pay 25% more. That, of course, decreases supply which pushes prices up for existing stock. Wait for it.

Not so sure it's unintended, just ignored since it seems clear Trump doesn't give a shit about anyone who isn't an oligarch.

Despite his promise to lower prices, the Orange Jesus is going in the other direction. I'm watching the stock market continue to drop as this is being typed.

Dow is down another 717 points this morning.
Doesn't look like they like what Trump is doing to the economy.

All I can see coming out of this is a lot of American consumers being hurt by higher prices on almost everything we buy.
