During the lockdowns, we had the energy to spare. Businesses were shuttered and people were not driving. So prices dropped. Biden is overseeing a huge uptick in jobs .businesses and driving. Oil companies shut down a not of production. Now demand is above pre-covid levels. So prices are up and supply lags.
