I commend you for taking the high road. I'm not so much angry with trump as I am with the people who elected him. This is the first time in our country's history where a 34-times convicted felon with 4 current indictments and 2 impeachments will hold the highest office in the land.

They went through the whole list on one of the shows last night. Not just what you cited, but all of the allegations from women, J6 (I mean - J6! I thought there was no way after that), the conspiracies, the Big Lie, and most alarmingly, the stark warnings from generals and those who actually served w/ Trump.

I can only hope that he governs w/ the best interests of the country in mind. But if what I guess would be the more likely outcome happens - future historians are going to be scratching their heads. Nothing was hidden here. We know who this guy is.

It was an opinion piece by a conservative columnist. I suppose this means the NYT will give equal time to opposing views, as much as I don't like it, Mr. Earl.

I think the thing I'm most curious about is a national abortion ban. Trump & his campaign were very reassuring that it will not happen.

But, I remember some on the right telling us that overturning Roe would never happen, also.

I think the temptation will be great for the GOP Congress. They know it's unlikely they'll have a majority for long - and that if they are ever going to do a national ban, now will be the time.

If that happens, my optimism will fade.
