Hey in Illinois, we impeached and convicted our governor who 'wanted to hold down taxes.' We'll be next for a 'bailout,' while paying higher taxes than ever. I'm hoping to get my state tax refund, before they pull a KS or CA on us.

California is a big bubble that needs to pop over the next 5 yrs. NO tax refunds for anybody making above poverty. Double property taxes on people making over 50,000 both measures for 5 yrs.
I'll move in after the bubbles stops popping.
Property values need to fall another 40% in Cali.

I chose to live in a low tax state. Here, even the Democrats don't like taxes all that much.
