You don’t understand ‘where’. It’s a language thing. I’ll Anglo Saxon mansplain it to you. The rally was in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. See the video here, from the 44:07 mark:

[again, remove gap]
Here’s what he said [emphasis mine]:
Oh, they’re gonna make it such a big deal, they’re gonna make it so big, he said something so politically incorrect, that’s why we’re going to hell, because it was so politically incorrect. Such a big deal! Such a big deal! I want surveillance of certain Mosques, okay? If that’s okay. I want surveillance. And you know what? We’ve had it before and we’ll have it again. Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched, in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering, so something’s going on, we gotta find out what it is.
Get it? Trump said, “And I watched, in Jersey City, New Jersey,
where thousands and thousands of people were cheering…”
Here's the same construction in two similar sentences:
“And I watched, on the moon, where the astronauts jumped around and planted the flag…”
“And I watched, at the sea bottom, where Robert Ballard’s submersible filmed the Titanic…”
An English teacher of Trump’s time would say, “Tut tut, you might confuse people. Say this instead:
“I watched on TV as, in Jersey City, New Jersey, thousands and thousands of people were cheering…”
Hell man, he was at a rally, improvising; talking to thousands of people (millions with TV and the net). Do you really think his English teacher from sixty years ago is going to tap him on the shoulder at the rally and tell him to say it more clearly to make anonymous username domer76 happy? Really? That’s what you think? If you think that, I have ten bridges and a pyramid you might like to buy. For you only a billion dinars. That should buy me an apartment in a bad part of New York City.
As a matter of fact, yes. Trump was interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” show, November 22, 2015. Stephanopoulos interviewed Trump by phone, and played a tape showing Trump talking about thousands of people cheering in New Jersey. See the video below, from the 7:15 mark. I start the transcript there:
Stephanopoulos: Y’know the police say that didn’t happen… at all. Those rumors have been on the internet for some time, so did you misspeak yesterday?
Trump: It did happen. I saw it. It was on television, I saw it.
Stephanopoulos: You saw that with your own eyes?
Trump: George, it did happen. There were people that were cheering on the other side on New Jersey, where you have large Arab populations, they were cheering as the World Trade Center came down. I know it might be not politically correct for you to talk about it, but there were people cheering as that building came down – as those buildings came down, and that tells you something. It was well covered at the time, George, now I know they don’t like to talk about it, but it was well covered at the time. There were people over in New Jersey that were watching it; a heavy Arab population that were cheering as the buildings came down. NOT GOOD!
'It was well covered at the time', twice, means he was watching it on TV. It's an Anglo thang. It's how we talk. Capisci?
Let's hope he capsica before we all die of old age.
Heh, you'll buy it too, domer and domerer, if you stick with your English lessons.
