Negative, I am southern Baptist, ones church affiliation means nothing! It is all about confession, and repentance, and accepting the free gift given by God! I take issue with some of their practices, and doctrine, that is it!

The ones I know definitely hate them. One example: My fundie sister-in-law & family moved to Houma LA a couple years ago for a job her husband had. They have a 13-yr-old son who has never attended any schools other than fundie Xtian ones. They searched and searched to find one there in mostly-Catholic bayou land. When I innocently suggested a parish school she recoiled in horror and said she'd rather send him to the terrible (her word) local public school. Other evangelicals I know don't even believe that Catholics are actually Xtians.
But they'll swallow that Catholic lady if Toadstool tells them to. After all, they pretend he is not an atheist, adulterous lecher who cheats on taxes, wives, taxpayers, contractors, and them.

That IS about it. My closest friend of 50 years is a Roman Catholic. We put our differences on doctrines, traditions and practices on the back burner mannnnnnnnnnny years ago.
We are united in our faith, Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and salvation is through Him alone. We are united in our hatred of this death culture and killing of millions of babies

We all three would be close friends I suppose, as one of my best friends is exactly the same. We graduated High School together, and have worked together in the same company for 32 years!
Many probably do, and that is their business. I know many who understand what it means to be born again, and are, they simply go through the religious exercises of the Catholic Church! As long as they understand what it means to have a personal relationship, to confess, repent, and accept the free gift God gave I don't much care what else they do!
