Yes, my ideological brothers and sisters and I generally just discard Democrats as corporatsts. Center right pawns of a system they're terrified to oppose. But when it comes to communism, we on the left are split. We'd all rather have it than capitalism, but how to put it in place divides us. Personally, I don't think it's all they crack it up to be, but, if I asked how to implement it, I'd say it's best done gradually and democratically. And that it should be preceded by socialism.

It's also important to remember that communism is really just a kind of radical libertarianism that can't exist alongside a state.

Just STFU, you stupid uneducated bitch! We have NEVER had "unfettered" capitalism in America. As I pointed out in another thread, for another Communist cheerleader, American Capitalism is very much "fettered" to our Constitution.

We're currently in the 9th year of economic downturn and anemic recovery. Millions have lost their jobs, and will never find another as good as they had. Retirement accounts are worthless, record numbers on food stamps.... and all you fucking hippies can do, is continue crowing about Socialism, Communism and Marxism, as if this will somehow save us.

Capitalism WORKS! It enables the poorest of the poor to become super wealthy. In a free market capitalist system, it offers this opportunity to EVERY individual, regardless of their class. Through all of history, capitalism is the one thing that has proven to work every time it has been tried. You idiots are trying to destroy it to install a system that has historically proven to fail, and generally speaking, ends up in chaos and genocide, more times than not.

This is the problem we face. Brainwashed loons desperately clinging to capitalism, even as it takes on water. The ship is sinking, but they won't admit it - those who do blame it on an economic system that's never existed in the US - and keep on screaming the mantras of their youth. Face it Dixie, capitalism no longer works.

Capitalism works fine, and it would be even more efficient if it were left to its own (not that I advocate that). You seem to refer more to our democratic republic.

The problem we face is direct sabotage of our economy and Constitution by the people that are now in charge of our government.
