creating a "Yurt" username, copying my posts from here, sometimes verbatim, some changing them a little and claiming to be the same yurt who posts at jpp and usmb. the owner deleted his yurt account and banned him. it was hilarious. i would never have known but a poster who posts there and here told me. he also "warned" people at that board of legion troll.

why is your wife deathly afraid of sharks? that is so random. It's such an irrational fear. She'll probably never come into contact with a shark in her entire life. Not to mention you have a higher chance of dying by eating a hotdog than being killed by a shark. (granted the people that die from hotdogs are usually dumbass kids).

It's like being afraid of snapping turtles. Yeah, no shit I probably wouldn't want one near my testicles but it's not something that stresses me out. You know why? Because I have never seen a snapping turtle in my life.

fears are often irrational grind. in her case, however, we don't know. what is her history with the ocean? stories she has heard? i used to have a fear of sharks until i started surfing and diving. sometimes more knowledge about the subject of the fear helps, like you provided, and sometimes familiarity helps, like diving. for me, seeing under the water and how sharks normally act during the day decreased my fear to almost nothing except for a healthy respect. though i did nearly sheeet myself when a shark grazed my leg surfing in the south pacific. their skin is like sand paper, there was no mistake and it pushed me just a little to the side. i stayed in because unlike california, you will never surf if go in based on a shark siting.
