‘I will not be silenced’: Rashida Tlaib hits back at congressional censure motion

Tlaib has accused Joe Biden of supporting genocide and threatened that he will lose Arab American and Muslim support in the 2024 election – triggering widespread condemnation by Republicans and many Democrats.

But Tlaib was unrepentant in her speech.

“I will not be silenced and I will not let you distort my words,” Tlaib said. “No government is beyond criticism. The idea that criticizing the government of Israel is antisemitic sets a very dangerous precedent, and it’s been used to silence diverse voices speaking up for human rights across our nation.”

Criticizing a government or nation is one thing, Tlaib's sin is that she openly supports terrorists and terrorist activity. Now she's trying to backpedal to say something different than what she was first saying having recognized that people don't like her supporting terrorists and terrorism.

Trump supports them

While tolerating thobes and hijabs on the floor of Congress is relatively new,
and I'll admit to not being happy with such breach of decorum and fashion sense,

we've been tolerating fucking idiots since the very beginning of the nation.

Right now, we've even got a few on my side of the aisle.
They're way off base on the Middle East,
but they're hardly our biggest problem.
Not even close.

The likes of Gaetz and MTG make our clowns look like esteemed scholars.

It is indeed quite telling that the only nation in the world that it is verboten to criticize, is Israel. The tendrils do run deep around the world. Many of our own government leaders give more allegiance to Israel than to their own country and states.

Similarly interesting is just how many states you can lose your job or be prevented from working if you don't sign a loyalty oath to Israel and swear you won't exercise your free speech in supporting BDS.
