IF ROMNEY WINS... my post the next day!

Wow... Jughead is actually allowing his mind to think this might be a real possibility? That's a change!

What we see here is Jughead's typical 'gesturing' ...it's usually in the form of 'condemning' something that his side has said or done that he knows can't be defended. Somehow, it makes it alright for him to continue to support these maggots because he "strongly condemns" something on a message board... but what does that really mean? It's just words, followed by no actions. Same thing with this, Jughead claims he won't be hostile toward Romney, he'll support him going forward... (but he'll oppose basically everything Romney does.) Nice little caveat he gives himself there, isn't it?

I know of NO ONE who wished for Obama to fail. Most of us knew his policies would fail, and they did. I know of NO ONE who dislikes Obama because of his race, but that is constantly the charge against ANY who oppose his ideas. I guess I should take a page out of Jughead's playbook here and say that I "strongly condemn" anyone who doesn't like Obama because he is black, but frankly, I don't know of anyone who has stated such a thing. If they do exist, I strongly condemn them! There! Now I can oppose Obama and everything he does, because I have "strongly condemned" those who don't like Obama because he is a black man. Something tells me I will still be accused of being racist.

Let me ask a question here to the liberals... How many right-wing Fox News types have been out there referring to the president as "Mr. Obama" instead of "the president" or "President Obama?" During the Bush years, liberal media literally refused to call Bush the president! They constantly referred to him in their stories as "Mr. Bush!" I don't think I've heard Obama referred to as "Mr. Obama" once.

I have a question.

If Obama is such a failure .. and he is on many levels .. why isn't your candidate running away with this election?

Why hasn't your candidate topped the national polls even once?

Do you have an honest, non-partisan, non I hate Obama answer for that?

I understood fine just like I uinderstand this post fine.

It's called a self fulfilling prophecy. Putting the defeat of one politician ahead of the needs of the country is not what most people elect congressmen for.
Your world is a fantasy world to me. Defending the present congress is idiotic at best. Your stupity underwhelms me.
And you are a bit underwhelming yourself. A self fulfilling prophecy would have been if Obama had said "my presidency is going to SUCK big time!" And then taken active steps HIMSELF(hence the SELF in SELF fulfilling prophecy)to make that prediction come true. I wasn't predicting ANYTHING, based on the facts at my disposal, I KNEW he was going to suck big time and I didn't lift a finger to make it happen. Go ahead and ask him, I'll bet Obama will tell you that everything is going just peachy right now thanks to his outstanding leadership.

And you think I'm living in a fantasy world? You don't recall this little gem, do you?:

Dixie is a lying idiot.

Really? Because you just posted several video clips of Republicans referring to Obama as "President Obama" and not "Mr. Obama" as your side often referred to Bush. This proves what I said to be true. Now, apparently, you think that Republicans should have some other priority besides defeating Obama's bid for re-election, and I never have claimed that Republicans don't want to deny him a second term. In fact, it is about as stupid as it gets, to think that should or would be the case.

As I said in another thread, we have a weird political paradigm going on. For whatever reasons, 48% of this country is going to support Obama no matter what happens or what he says or does. They are not voting for the Republican, it doesn't matter what he says or who he/she is, that's never been an option. When you have this kind of devoted solidarity, regardless of anything else, it's hard to overcome.

I said all along, the Republicans should have acknowledged this fact, and nominated a real firebrand, like Newt or Bachmann, who would have taken the gloves off and gone after Obama relentlessly. The passive nature of Romney scares me, and Ryan isn't much better. They have great attributes and are very level headed, but they don't know how to fight Chicago-style gutter thug politics. We'll have to see how it plays out on election day, much depends on turnout. But it's absolutely stunning to me, this election will be decided by people who currently can't decided between Conservative and Liberal.

Polls don't mean a whole lot to me, unless they are showing some dramatic difference, they aren't generally reliable. Most of the polls I have seen, have both candidates within the margin of error. Most interesting is this analysis, from the University of Colorado:

http://www.colorado.edu/news/releas...nts-romney-win-university-colorado-study-says

For the last 8 presidential elections, this model has correctly predicted the winner of the presidential race. According to their analysis, President Barack Obama will win 218 votes in the Electoral College, short of the 270 he needs. And though they chiefly focus on the Electoral College, the political scientists predict Romney will win 52.9 percent of the popular vote to Obama’s 47.1 percent, when considering only the two major political parties.

But again... we have a paradigm we've never seen in American politics. Never before has a man garnered so much solidarity of support, regardless of all other factors, so the UC model may have met it's match with this election... it remains to be seen.

Remember when Dixie was full of manlove for Spermin' Herman Cain?

How'd that work out?

No, dipshit, self doesn't refer to Obama. That is just your misinterpretation.

What is a faked video of an idiot supposed to prove?

No, because I posted several videos of republicans stating they wanted Obama to fail. Not just any republicans either, but party leadership, and THAT makes youy a liar.

If you don't know what the leaders of your own party want, you are either a liar or an idiot. You tell me which.

Sorry, I watched every clip again, not once did anyone say they hoped Obama would fail. They repeatedly say they hope to defeat Obama and hope he fails at being re-elected, but what should Republicans hope for, an Obama win? lol... are you that idiotic and stupid?

You are a real dipshit. And a stupid one to boot!

You are severely pwned and too stupid to know it.

Really? I pointed out that Obama is given the respect of being addressed as "President Obama" unlike Bush, and then you post several video clips to confirm that, and you think that pwned me? I said that no one hoped Obama would fail, and you want to cling to the notion that hoping he fails to be re-elected counts? How exactly do you see that as pwning me, moron?

You couldn't fucking pwn my jockstrap, weasel. Get the fuck outta here!

I think Romney just needs to re-run all of Obama's "Hope and Change" promises, from 2008. That alone should be enough to remind everyone of Obama's failure to do anything.
And then when they try to blame it on Congress and the Senate, all he has to do is show the numbers of Democrats vs Republicans during his first two years.

But see, that's just it... in elections past, this would be the prevailing strategy, just crucify him with his own rhetoric... but his side doesn't care! We are facing a political opposition that is hellbent on re-electing this man, and nothing else in this world really matters. We can point these things out to them, and they just shrug it off and continue lauding their support for him. They don't care that the economy is failing, that his policies have failed, that he hasn't done what he promised, or any damn thing else.. he is Obama, and they are going to vote for Obama, that's all that matters to them. You can point out anything you want to... If they found the decapitated corpses of Michelle and the kids in the White House, and Obama was sitting in the oval office with a bloody knife, muttering "REDRUM...REDRUM" they would STILL go and vote for him, it does not matter! They would say... Oh well, he was under a lot of pressure... those mean ol' republicans pushed him to do this, it wasn't his fault, it was theirs, and besides... that Michelle was getting on everyone's nerves anyway, she had it coming! That is the mindset we are dealing with here, FANATICS who aren't going to listen to reason, aren't going to think objectively, and aren't going to respond to common sense or rationality. They will throw anybody under the bus they need to, they will lie and distort whatever they feel necessary. They are simply going to bow up and refuse to budge on their undying support for Obama.

The only thing we can hope for on the other side, is to convince enough people who don't usually vote, and the 'independent' voters (whoever the hell they are) that this election is important enough to go vote this man out of power. I don't care that Romney isn't perfect, he's not a Marxist Socialist determined to destroy the country. How anyone can be "undecided" at this point, is beyond me. Which is precisely why you aren't seeing a lot of 'movement' in the polls.

So Romney's only appeal to the Alabaman Ass is that he's not Obama.
