If the government forces you to give birth to a child,

So how, exactly, did the feminist movement make "whores" out of "virtuous women"? It sounds as though you're suggesting that women who are as free as men have been to enjoy sex are sluts. Of course MEN aren't sluts or whores because "stronger sex drive."

Seems to me that the burden of remaining pure and celibate should fall upon the man. After all, aren't men supposed to be stronger than women? If you men don't like abortion, keep it in your pants and it won't be an issue, now will it?

Hate to break this to you, but both men *and* women have enjoyed sex both inside and outside of wedlock for as long as we've been on Earth. It has zero to do with "virtue."

You put that better than I could have. I shouldn't be, but I've actually been dumbfounded reading this thread. "Abortions are bad. Only pregnant women need abortions. Pregnancy is only caused by slutty women. Men have no responsibility related to pregnancy, but they are the only ones who can decide that women cannot have abortions. And we have so decided." Of all the racist, homophobic, xenophobic, hateful, wrong shit I've read on this shitsite, I think the anti-abortion posts are the most virulent.

Quitting smoking with talk therapy and nicotine gum isn't controlling your own body? Taking a birth control pill or a cholesterol pill or a vitamin isn't controlling your own body? Running isn't exercising because you don't control the sidewalk underneath your feet?

You are a fucking moron. You really mustn't talk about logic when you are obviously on Hawkeye's level. Welcome to the sewer of the dungeon in the basement of intellectual ability at JPP.

Red herring much?

I didn't realize you are a conspiracy theorist until last night. And your preferred flavor is afghan pederast heroin cartel bacha bazi. You are more fucked up than most of your peers on this shit stain of the internet.

Look how slime faggots like to deflect onus for their coverup and their support for the scum of the earth.

Go back to your closet and pray no one guns it down.

the government has a right to prohibit some drugs.

How so?

there are no legislators who suggest people who eat too much or drink too much or smoke should not get health care.

Here's an example or two.

And another couple, except this time it's busybodies suggesting that only vaccinated people should have access to health insurance benefits if they get the Chinese disease.

A New York lawmaker is proposing a bill that would allow health insurance companies to deny coverage to those who refuse to get vaccinated against Covid-19. “I’m introducing a bill that allows insurance providers to deny coverage for Covid related treatment to those who refuse to be vaccinated. Do your part or pay your own way. Freedom isn’t free,” New York State Assemblyman Patrick Burke (D-Buffalo) wrote on Twitter Tuesday. Burke, a DEMOCRAT, told WKBW that the legislation would give insurance providers the option to deny coverage for Covid-related treatments. He said the bill is in the early stages and still being drafted.

Rep. Jonathan Carroll, D-Northbrook on Monday introduced legislation that would amend the state’s insurance code and require people who remain unvaccinated, by choice, to pay their hospitalization costs out of pocket if they contract COVID-19.

I'm not the one making shit up. You lied by omission by leaving out an important detail in my statement.

Don't forget the frequency with which legislators suggest that people who eat too much (or eat certain foods) drink alcohol, or smoke should be ineligible for government-subsidized medical care.

I see all the zealots out in full force

this is a complex issue - and trying to fit a single solution all states must accept is a recipe for in fighting and disaster

Maybe it should be a matter between each person and their doctor.

That's what I think, anyway.

doesn't the government have a financial obligation to pay to the costs of raising a child?
The premise of your question is wrong.

Unless a woman has been raped, becomes pregnant as a result of said rape, and is denied abortion after said rape-induced pregnancy, she is not in the slightest bit being forced by anyone to birth any child (as she is not being forced to engage in the sexual activity that can lead to pregnancies).

Oops. I see you did not sober up. You've made funeral arrangements, I hope?
