If the allegations in the whistleblower complaint are true, if the White House took the phone call out of the unclassified server and put it in the classified server, Trump will be removed from office for obstruction of justice. I have enough faith in the Republican Senate to say they would stand up for rule of law.

I'll be honest man, I've barely paid attention to this story and can hardly tell you the details of what's happened. Weird for being a political junkie to tune something like this out but I have.

I think an "impeachable offense" is whatever a majority of the House votes for. I cannot see the courts getting involved in a political issue in determining something is not an impeachable offense. I think a lot more negative information would have to be revealed before a majority of Republicans ever votes to impeach and convict.

I don't know the law on this but I would say asking for a "favor" is not evidence the funds were based on providing dirt on Biden; especially since the funds were granted without any investigation or dirt.

What I find most interesting is how the two sides have doubled down on their partisanship. Anti-Trump people have come up with a new issue every week that will remove him from office with Mueller being the one for sure. Now, all those past issues have been forgotten and they know the Ukraine thing will definitely remove him.

The Trump lovers have gone a step further to defend him by claiming he was doing some treaty obligation by discussing corruption. I am really unsure whether they really believe that or they are just trying to win a debate with the most arguments. I have not seen any of Trump's supporters turn on him for this but many have defended him.

The leaders do that because they know it works on Trump. The problem with him getting rents is that because he is president, he takes rents away from other hotels . Trump also stopped the sale of a government building because it was going to be zoned commercial and a new hotel was going to be built. He stopped the competition from being built. Misuse of pe-residential powers.
Presidents are not allowed to receive money of gifts from foreigners while in office. He does every day. He did not take him from his businesses as every other president did. Trump is showing us why we have an emoluments clause.
