Clinton did the honorable thing, and conceded the election the night of the election. Previous elections have sometimes taken a few days to work themselves out, but concessions have always been made in Presidential Elections. There has been a growing trend of lower level elections with soar losers who do not give concession speeches. They are all Republicans.

If trump loses, I bet he does not concede the election. In fact, I bet (if trump loses) he fails to attend the inauguration of Biden, as tradition requires. Clinton went to the inauguration of trump, as tradition required.

The real question is will trump try to stoke violence in a reaction to an election loss, and how many of his supporters will turn violent. Make no mistake about it, people will be murdered by right wing terrorists... It is only a question of how bad it will get.
 
Not a single trump supporter is willing to come out for trump leaving office if he loses the election. They are getting amazingly open about their treason.

That would depend on the situation. If there is a legitimate reason to question the accuracy of the votes cast, then taking the time to recount various sections of the country would be wise.

You're assuming that I will believe a claim of corruption without evidence. I don't take corruption claims lightly -- hence my skepticism of things like the Mueller Report. If Trump were to claim that there were "voting irregularities", then he would need to provide convincing evidence for me to buy it.

Same here. There are legitimate concerns developing currently, however. Ballot harvesting is a pretty shady practice, for example.

That is the second most likely option, but most likely is that he is a whiny little bitch about it. I highly doubt he will do the honorable thing conceded the election, and then diligently conduct the handover in power. Being an honorable gentleman is not trump's style.

If he just slinks away, some of his followers will turn to violence.

I would add that we would have lost the hard won knowledge of his administration, but does anyone think there is any knowledge that his administration has discovered?
