If you're a worker, House Republicans just picked your pocket - remember next Novembe

If the issue were whether to extend the payroll tax cut for a year versus two months, maybe Gingrich would have a point. But that's not the issue. The issue is what concessions Republicans can extract in exchange for doing something they claim to want to do anyway.

If the Democrats want to extend the payroll tax cut for a year and the Republicans want to extend the payroll tax cut for a year, the payroll tax cut would be extended for a year. But the Republicans don't want to extend the payroll tax cut for a year. They only want to extend the payroll tax cut for a year if, in exchange the Democrats made a whole host of policy concessions that the Democrats don't want to agree to. Having been called on their bullshit, they now resort to claiming that the issue is the length of the payroll tax cut int he hopes that no one will notice. Naturally, PMP, Damo and the rest oblige accordingly.

are you going to pretend that impeaching judges isn't provided for under the law?......calling it "ignoring" them is idiotic.....by the way, have you grown more hair today?......your signature looks different.......paranoid about premature balding, perhaps?.....

Calling Newtzi "idiotic", pathetic PiMP?

Watch and listen as your little tin god calls for ignoring judges...

if that's the case, then we agree the crux of the problem is that Demos don't want to encourage job growth and energy independence by building the Keystone pipeline even though it wouldn't cost taxpayers a penny?........

why no.....I'm calling you idiotic and pathetic........I would have thought that was obvious.....

did you even listen to the video?.......have you ever heard of the concept of "checks and balances"?........have you taken classes on government at the high school level?..........if not, listen to the video......you will be educated......

What a pathetic PiMP-ly attempt at a shell game.

Your "thought" was obviously incorrect, lil' PiMP. Newtzi said Congress should ignore judges.

obviously you're confused......the guy who said "ignore" was Schieffler....Gingrich was the other guy, the one with white hair....Gingrich was the one who had to explain the system of checks and balances to a guy who should have already known it.....

Obviously you're deaf...as well as dumb.

Gingrich didn't deny he said it, in fact he doubled down.

Poor lil' PiMP.

The trouble with what you're saying is that the two-month Senate extension includes a concession on the Keystone Pipeline. That the concession that the Senate Republicans were able to extract in exchange for a two-month extension. In exchange for one year extension, the House Republicans want a who hell of a lot more, notwithstanding that they claim to want to extend the tax cut for a year anyway.

so let me get this straight.....on December 13 the Republicans approved a one year extension with approval of the Keystone Pipeline......Senate Democrats turned that down and voted for a two month extension with approval of the Keystone Pipeline.......and people are complaining that the House is blocking an extension?.......either you're wrong or the media is even dumber than I thought..........

You're not paying attention, PiMPle. Obama just signed the bill. You lost.

The reality is that you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

The House Republicans passed a bill on Dec. 13 that included the one year payroll tax cut extension, plus the Pipeline approval, plus a whole host of other stuff that they knew the Senate would never approve. Then the Senate, on a bipartisan basis, approved a bill that included a two-month extension plus the Keyston Pipeline approval, but not all the other garbage the House insisted upon.

The Keystone Pipeline deal approval was the concession the Senate Republicans extracted for the two-month extension. In January, the parties will fight over the following ten months and all the garbage concessions the House Republicans want for the ten month extension.

I hope this helps.

I seem to recall that PiMPle was ignorant of the fact that the federal fiscal year begins in October, too.

What an ass.

sorry....nothing in the news about approval of the pipeline....all I can find is a promise from Obama that he will make a decision within 60 days on whether he will approve.....so I can only conclude you have made it up so you could pretend you won the argument.......next time make smarter choices on what you want to argue so you don't have to lie to win........
