It would work. Whether or not it's the most efficient long term solution is another matter. WWII got us out of the depression, but it provided us with few long term benefits since most of what we produced exploded. If we had put the money into infrastructure instead, we would have been a lot better off economically.

Why not put a trillion into science? That would be fucking awesome. The "moderates" compromised away all NSF spending from the stimulus bill, though.

he can't admit it, it would blow away one of his major debating points/tactics on this board....that if you don't agree with the nobel winning krugman, you're stupid, moron, idiot, your point is wrong etc....not because of facts or ideas, rather solely because krugman is always right and did i forget to mention, he won a NOBEL prize <------
