I watched every press briefing of the Trump Administration for the last year. It wasn't exactly a time sink, since there weren't any.

Nope. They would have praised her honesty and openness. Trump's people were given a chance and they just made the presser into a bitch session. Then they shut it down completely in the interest of transparency. Jen has left after all questions are answered. Did you ever hear of a Trumpy saying, "are there any more questions"? You had about 3 minutes to ask questions after a short nasty speech.

Funny, but you and I both know Jan is more honest than Kayleigh. You don't have to admit it for political appearances, but you know I'm right. ;)

That said, she's new. Sarah made it two(?) years? What's the average for WHPS? I think Jan will do well in her position. Trust is a major issue and the difference in trust should be clear to all as time goes by.

Tastes vary. OTOH, the fact Jan's Space Force comment raised an eyebrow could never come close to the dozen or so jaw-dropping moments Sarah produced in me.

Yes. When Psaki does not know the answer, she finds out the truth, and then passes it on. If she answered questions that she did not know the answer of, that would be lying.

It is refreshing to see an honest, competent Press Secretary doing her job again.

We agree to a point. Nazi Germany forced the military to become political. One of the sticking points was the military solute compared to the Nazi solute. There were military officers actually executed for doing the military solute rather than the Nazi solute. After that, most of the military fell into line.
