“Income inequality is not the Problem”

Income inequality alarms lots of the super-rich. They can run, but cannot hide. History has shown a rapid redistribution of income does not go well for the abusive wealthy, like the French revolution. That is why you are hearing about guaranteed income for the poor. There are wealthy who know that our wealth gap is worse than the Gilded Age. That did not end well. The plutocrats are slowly and steadily gaining more and more power and control. They have to find a way to disguise it. https://www.gfmag.com/global-data/economic-data/wealth-distribution-income-inequality America is losing on the Gini index as the rich gather more and more.. The conclusion includes that trickle-down does not work.

How do you propose that we make and keep income equal for everyone?

I made no such claim about the same for everyone. Like Helmsley said "We don't pay taxes. Only little people pay taxes". I would eliminate loopholes and hiding money offshore. Our biggest corporations pay no taxes. I would deal with that.

Then what is "income inequality"?

you're right on this one, ya asshole!

Then what is "income inequality"?

There is a distinction between horrible and damaging income inequality and the difference that exists by the nature of capitalism. Like Teddy Roosevelt said, he begrudged no man a fortune he made by having a good idea that made him wealthy, but passing money down through time is a fortune of a different kind. The wealthy include power with their money and do change the system over time, more and more to their benefit, That is when he was installing the inheritance tax. Even that tax has been beaten and slashed by the wealthy.https://review.chicagobooth.edu/eco...er-mind-1-percent-lets-talk-about-001-percent The top is getting richer by multiples the last 20 years.

Ever notice the only ones that whine about income inequality are those that offer a low skill set?
Actually, it’s people who do have a skill set, work hard for their employer only to see large bonuses go to the CEO and they aren’t equally compensated for making that CEO and stockholders money.

Actually, it's not. Someone digging holes with a shovel may be hard work but it's hardly involves a high level skill. Someone cleaning a toilet might be nasty work but it hardly requires a high skill level.

You are moving goal posts now as you always do.

I'm addressing jobs that you think require high skill levels but really don't. Those highly skilled jobs do pay well. Your opinion related to that is irrelevant.

How about instead of whining that you don't make enough, improve your skills in order to do so. Honorable people do.
