I always wanted to meet one of these over-emotional idiots that banned their own selves from enjoying NFL football because President Trump tried to make a racist White Nationalist attack on some players that protested the National anthem over 2 years ago- all because Donald was trying to distract everyone's attention from his cheating with the Russians in the election and his cheating on his wife.

No court can grant itself power over the Constitution, dude. No court has the authority to interpret or change the Constitution.

False equivalence fallacy. You are attempting to justify punishing law abiding citizens just because they happen to own guns.

You do not have to record a car sale. You only need to register the car under the owner if you want to use the public roads. This is a taxing system, nothing more.
People that have been involuntarily committed as mental patients already can neither drive a car nor own a gun legally. Indeed, they are not even allowed to walk the streets on their own legally.

The NFL did it to themselves. People stopped watching NFL games before Trump even made any comment about it.

This thread has nothing to do with what I think of gun control. I will reply to other topics if you can first post a reply that demonstrates that you have read and understand the opening post. Your post suggests that you felt a need to evade the opening post.

Labeling something a fallacy does not mean it is labeled correctly. Most importantly, it seeks to deflect from the actual debate.

If you don't think Marbury v. Madison gave the courts the power of judicial review you are obviously unfamiliar with the case. What you claim courts can and cannot do does not make that reality.

It doesn't. Courts already had it. A federal court can review any law of Congress, or any executive action by the President, for conformance with the Constitution. Any law of any State can also be reviewed for conformance of the portion of the federal Constitution that applies to States.

Nothing changed. The federal judicial system has always had this authority. See Article III of the Constitution of the United States.

I understand why you feel the need to evade answering the opening post. I am very used to seeing lefties dodge, divert, invert, convert, redefine, ignore, or otherwise evade answering anything. You are not the first lefty who is stuck having to evade, and you are not the last. It's what lefties do.
