One examples is Michael Servetus.

Servetus rejected the orthodox Trinity, but he did not replace it with a doctrine of three distinct divine beings. Instead, he argued:

• Executed in Geneva in 1553 under Calvinist authority for heresy.

His execution was for denying the Trinity and infant baptism, not for teaching three separate divine beings. He was burned to death.
