I am taking a backup file while the site is live and still I don't see massive delays... (slight delays but not like what we had going).

Yeah, I took like six of them as I was testing a script I wrote that will seriously make it more efficient. I finally got it right and it is running perfectly without the full download of an unzipped database then running a zip on it. While I was doing all that testing and backups the site was still running. I heard no complaints so I will say that this was one successful day of running, the new memory and disk space has given us room..

This should remedy the slowness quite handily. Tell me if you see it back because it shouldn't be. The swap went from GB in size to zero... It's all being run on the RAM...

It seems to be working fine. Minimal lag.
