Since I've spent a long lifetime as an active socialist, I tentatively suggest that you are talking out of the wrong aperture. Heil Trump and brainwashed quacking!
As an an active socialist you are obviously choosing one small variant of socialism to champion (obviously unsuccessful variant).

Only variant there is, kid. Jut as weirdoes in the US call themselves 'Christian', all soetsa of capitalists call themselves 'socialist'. mankind has to police any government structure to ensure the sociopathic don't work their way into power.
Democracy must be a bigger part of the mix than socialism

Trump is taking strides toward tyranny. He is accepting only people in his administration who are 100 percent loyal. He has demanded loyalty from other departments that are not under his control. He is trying to take over the FBI ,even if he has to destroy it to get it. He is also trying to destroy the press and substitute one that will go along with whatever he says. I am glad Trump is old, because he would not like to end after the 2 terms he thinks he deserves. Trump has no respect for our institutions. He cares nothing about our history, He wants to be Putin. I think Trump is dangerous. I am glad he is not very bright.

It seems to me that once we get shot of capitalism we get shot of the capitalist state, and that's the key point. Americans, for some reason, seem to oppose capitalist state to capitalism, which couldn't work without an intrusive state to keep it going.
