First, I doubt seriously that any state will secede. After all, that was tried once by mostly Democrat run states about 150 years ago and ended very badly for them.
As for taxes v. spending, what you claim is mostly not true when you remove spending in a state, any state, that is not politically or population dependent. That is, spending on things like military bases (located where they are for reasons not related to the state in most cases), spending for national parks, monuments, etc., and the like. If you toss in federally owned land that is essentially fallow or all but fallow in a state, like national forests, wilderness, or much of BLM land, the results tip badly in favor of blue states getting more than they put in.
This is the same sort of fallacy Progressives use when they talk about illegal immigration as "immigration" conflating legal and illegal immigration as if the two were the same and interchangeable. It is an attempt to dilute what otherwise is an awful picture for their position.

On the other hand, as an Independent I won't stand for so much as a day where Progressives and Leftists are running anything and that makes it hard for me to vote for a Democrat even when I like one. Arizona's Krysten Sinema is an example. She's very much a rare moderate Democrat but I have a hard time voting for her knowing that control of Congress might be handed back to the lunatics on the Left like it was when Obama first got in office.

CA tried to get independence on the ballot for 2021 but could not get enough signatures:
"The California Independence Referendum in 2021 Initiative (#18-0001): The measure would have placed a referendum on the ballot for an election on May 4, 2021, which would have asked: "Do you want California to be an independent country in the form of a republic?"'
It was a Russian Active Measure campaign. The guy behind it actually went to Russia, I believe.

That was all over the local news post the '16 election. People just bitching about the result. I think we're $50 billion in debt at the moment (not to mention the unfunded liabilities) we aren't going anywhere.

As a White, Christian, conservative, which is actually the most vilified postion in our country right now, I will vote for Trump and then spend my time making sure you assholes do not try to steal it, and if you riot, and try to circumvent another legal election via soft coup tactics, I will then organize like minded people to protect this great country form the likes of you turncoat, commies.
