Let's hope not. I'm not going to authorize the Panthers to have a "building year" this season. They've routinely missed playoff opportunities by a single game last few seasons when out of the playoffs and having two up on Atlanta is a useful thing in the NFC South.

THEY can do whatever THEY want.

I'll be sportin' number 7 while walking my dog .. which really confuses people because there aren't many Bouviers in the US and he looks like a bear. When I walk him he draws crowds of people wanting to take his picture or take a picture with him.

Now they see my Vick jersey and don't know if they should approach me or not.

It's quite interesting.

You keep missing the point .. which you have validated yourself.

This is hype and sensationalism. This is more about Vick than pit bulls, dogs, dogfighting.

You've got about 4 threads going right now about the same Vick case .. show me where this has occured on this site before about a case of a dog killing ... KILLING .. a child.

Actually, run a search, there are quite a few. Specifically from 'robdawg' or 'Connecticut Stud' (same person). He is mostly in support of the dog and against breed-specific legislation. We have had many discussions on the breed and its perceived issues outside of dog fighting.

Without a search I GUARANTEE I won't find the same level of angst or number of threads running at the same time about dogs killing people. I guarantee it.

I agree with him on dog-specific legislation. As someone who trains, the responsibility falls on the owner. That being said, terriers were bred to chase and kill small animals. If you own a pit, it's your responsibility to train it to be social.

Almost all dogs will fight.

Humans, particulary Americans, try to make dogs something they are not.
