I've noticed a trend in terminology

No one can just "make up" the stupid shit that leftists just "make up" on a daily basis. You can't make this shit up.
I see you slipped out of your Intothenight costume just long enough to parade around a fresh batch of ignorance. The mask changes, the mind doesn’t, it’s the same dull spark rattling around no matter which login you resurrect.

So you wish to go on record again insisting that you are too stupid to distinguish between different people. Grand. You only have to do it once, but if you enjoy that sort of thing then knock yourself out. I truly believe that everyone already knows that you are a dullard, but if you feel you need to reinforce the idea, please have at it.

As an added bonus, you can demonstrate once again that you are sceintifically illiterate, and still manage to pretend to mock people who know so much more than you do. That's a sure sign of inteligence, so lay some more of that on us as well.

Of late, I've noticed a trend among the Left and Democrats to reframe how they label states. It used to be red and blue states with red being Republican led and blue Democrat led.

What I am seeing is a switch by Leftists in the Democrat(ic) party to using terms like oppressor or oppressed states versus democratic ones. That is, the Left is moving towards labeling red states as "oppressive" or "fascist" and blue states as "Democratic."

It is a typical reframing by the Left when they recognize they're losing a debate. People are fleeing blue states for red ones and it's seriously threatening the Left's grip on power and gaining more power. So, they're upping the rhetoric to inflammatory levels in hopes of scaring people into voting for them.

But it's ok with you when the MAGA right uses derogatory terms to refer to blue states....

Poor little Terri Anne.

😭

Sensitive little feelings always getting hurt.

Climate change
EV's for everyone!
Tax the shit out of the Rich and budgets will be fixed
Handouts to the poor work
Corporations are evil and must be punished
Public transit works
High speed trains are the future
High rise apartments are what people want to live in
Bike paths are vital
Solar and wind power work
Eat less meat
Criminals will stop being criminals if we talk to them politiely
Legalizing drugs will reduce use
Public education works
Unions are necessary and should be manditory
More government is good

We can start with that.

Most of that is true, mostly true or partially true.

The real idiocy lies in the right's refusal to accept that there is some merit there or that it takes time to perfect anything.

All you assholes excel at is criticizing, bitching and complaining.

All of it is bullshit, and little more.

There are 50 red states and about that many blue cities. Where people don't know where food comes from. Urban parasites festering in their own filth.

All of it is bullshit, and little more.

It's only bullshit in the minds of people whose heads are full of MAGA bullshit.

No room in there for critical thinking or a balanced POV.

Just chant the brainwashed MAGA moron mantra.

"If them thar dang ol' lib'ruls is fer it... then by cracky I'm agin' it!!!" :fogey:

Then argue how I'm wrong on some of them, any of them.

Well, first one would need to cross all your bullshit strawmen misrepresentations off the list....

That having been done....

1) public transportation is so obviously beneficial one shouldn't need to argue it. A lot of people without cars have jobs and need to get to work where they earn money which stimulates the economy and which contributes income taxes.

2) High rise apartments/condos fill up as fast as they're built. People obviously love them.

3) Bike paths encourage people to ride their bikes which improves health and reduces strain on the health care system.

4) Eating less meat, especially beef, reduces cholesterol and that reduces heart attacks.

5) Public education is what this nation has successfully relied on to educate and prepare kids for adulthood for over a hundred years.

6) More OF THE RIGHT KIND of government is good. What's so funny about that statement out of you is that your turd hero trump and his MAGA mess, have created more BAD government and filled the swamp they promised to drain.

Handouts to the poor work

Welfare is a handout. The poor are not expected to do anything in return for receiving them.

People generally don't want them. They usually sell poorly.
3) Bike paths encourage people to ride their bikes which improves health and reduces strain on the health care system.

They do no such thing. There is no compelling reason to put them in.

4) Eating less meat, especially beef, reduces cholesterol and that reduces heart attacks.

5) Public education is what this nation has successfully relied on to educate and prepare kids for adulthood for over a hundred years.

So? Public education is largely a construct of the industrial age. Today public education is very much hit and miss in quality and alternatives are showing they are better and more cost effective.

6) More OF THE RIGHT KIND of government is good. What's so funny about that statement out of you is that your turd hero trump and his MAGA mess, have created more BAD government and filled the swamp they promised to drain.

Define what "The Right Kind of government" is. I see a large, intrusive, government as mostly bad. I see a heavily taxed social-welfare state as a bad thing.

Strawman #1. Nobody is calling for EV's for everyone.

From your link....

"Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandates require automakers to produce and sell A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE of zero-emission vehicles each model year based on total new vehicle sales in a given state.

Vehicles that count toward this percentage target include battery electric and fuel-cell vehicles."

Strawman #2. Nobody ever claimed taxing the rich will be a magic fix for all budgetary issues. Your side's false claim, not ours.
Welfare is a handout. The poor are not expected to do anything in return for receiving them.
Handouts are things that are considered unnecessary.

Food is a necessity.

You can find criticism of anything if you look hard enough.

Your insinuation was that public transit doesn't work at all, yet millions of people across the country use it every day.

Imagine what would happen if it was suddenly done away with.

People generally don't want them. They usually sell poorly.
As with anything involving real estate, the three most important considerations in the success or failure of selling it are...

1. Location.
2. Location.
3. Location.

An old chicken coup located in Beverly Hills will fetch a higher price than a 4 bedroom/2 bath ranch style home on ½ acre in rural Arkansas.

Where I live, high rise residential buildings are full within a year of their opening.
They do no such thing. There is no compelling reason to put them in.

So, your first link is about trump's war on bike lanes having resulted in slashed federal funding...

1000094752.jpg

How does that translate into "no compelling reason to put them in"?

People use bike PATHS regularly. They reduce the amount of bicyclists riding on bike LANES.

You obviously just shill for anything trump tells you to without taxing your brain with any thought.

Your second link is about bicycle LANES along roads and highways, not bicycle PATHS which follow other routes away from roads and highways.

Bike LANE....

1000094754.jpg

Not a "Bike Path".

:blah: :blah: :blah:

A debate that has been going on for decades amongst experts who are infinitely more knowledgeable than you or I.

Ergo... Your opinion.
So? Public education is largely a construct of the industrial age. Today public education is very much hit and miss in quality and alternatives are showing they are better and more cost effective.
What is hit and miss, is the quality of the students our society is producing and supplying for public education to work with.

Kids who come from families with ignorant assholes for parents usually reflect their parents' ignorant attitudes towards school work and education in general.

Attitudes like yours, IOW.

As for the alternatives, there is more than ample coverage of charter schools failing due to mismanagement.

Right-wing MAGA types have always hated public education because the idiot talking heads you get your opinions from have always told you to. The reason for this hatred is because they use our tax dollars which is something you people find abhorrent.

Of course, these alternative charter schools also use taxpayer money, but your ilk loves them because they siphon their taxpayer dollars away from public education, which you hate anyway.
Define what "The Right Kind of government" is. I see a large, intrusive, government as mostly bad. I see a heavily taxed social-welfare state as a bad thing.
The right kind of government is that which exists to improve the lives of the American people, which is normally defined as the middle and working class, and with special dispensation made for the elderly and poor.

Certainly there is such a thing as overdoing it in that regard, but there has always been a healthy opposition to keep what you call "handouts" from getting out of control.

What I find curious is how you put together your list of government grievances with nary a mention of the waste committed by trump ..

Take Alligator Alcatraz, for instance.

It cost a total of $1.7 billion to open and operate, all to process 22,000 immigrants, almost zero of whom were dangerous criminals. That comes out to $77,272.00 per immigrant.

1000094757.jpg
1000094761.jpg
1000094762.jpg

All of this money was supposed to be reimbursed to the state of Florida, but as of yet, in typical trump fashion, the Florida taxpayers are still on the hook for it.

So while you whine about bike paths and vegan diets and high rise apartments, the massive waste committed by trump to barely make a dent in the 11 million immigrant population, goes ignored because if trump does something (like shooting someone on 5th Avenue?) it's perfectly okay with you.
